I have a winning record facing fellow scaninavians with 2.d4 dxe4 3.f3 exf3 4.Nxf3... the Gedult Blackmar Diemer Gambit. I did TERRIBLE with the 3.Nc3 mainline.
I am DESPISING playing the Scandinavian Marshall variation myself. 2.e5, forcing a closed Sicilian drives me nuts, and I hate 2.exd5 Nf6 3.d4, even playing 3...bg4, the Portugese gambit. I have a terrible losing record playing it. The only upside is that most of my 95%+ accurate games are in the modern variations... but that doesn't mean I have fun. I like an open center and mobility. I'm not getting what I want out of it.

Hey levy a small doubt. When u bring out queen early and put that on A5 what if the white plays b4, and we capture with the queen and suddenly Rb1 attacking the queen and also have an open file for white.

What if white’s horse jumps on e5 form f3 and then instesd of attacking the queen he attacks the rook jumping to f7. I can only take with king and I lose the right to castle. Or should you move the rook to g8?
