Can we write without passport ? And use aadhar instead?

what if we have accidentally filled the aadhar details in the form instead of passprt

My passport was made 9 years ago[I was 15 years old back then] and is expiring next year december. My face has changed[obviously because of facial changes] and my signature is different from what I had back then . So, do I need to renew my passport before giving the test or will this passport work?

Means passport is necessary for current scenario
