It does seem to an outsider that Muhammad Ziauddin Yusuf attempted to pervert the course of justice with his complaint to the Metropolitan Police pertaining to Rupert Lowe M.P. I write without prejudice and rely upon events reported and commented upon. Perhaps legal matters are proceeding to redress matters now the police and CPS have set the accusations aside. However, were I treated thus, as reported; then I would certainly pursue my accuser. Reputations of people and indeed businesses are hard won, but easily lost or destroyed by mischief.

Reform has recently been flip-flopping between commentaries and policies that alienate their supporter base and screeching handbrake turns to limit the damage caused. Becoming another shade of blue on the LibLabCon uniparty flag is no way to build reliable support.
At this stage Farage/Yusef/Bull/Tice should be recruiting staff to create the machinery that an incoming government needs, but instead all we see is a protest vote garnering party.

Play the football and NOT the person. Zia resignation is all a political dog and pony show to secure more media coverage for Reform. Zia can handle himself and has proven intellectually at public debates and question time. Zia has the oratory skills, impeccable English, and most importantly single too. Zia is needed to launch Reform's Dogma of Change in British Politics. Reform need to attract talent into to mount a challenge. Zia is the "intellectual" face of Reform who can communicate and take on the poor journalism skills in the UK. Boo to you mate.

This business sounds dodgy for anyone involved in politics because its like a ‘darkness’ and under its cover, anything could happen. The last thing we need in government now is more opaque weirdness- we need clear, bright and honest politicians who just want to make the country a better place.
