I was avoiding this movie all this time thinking it was a one night high jinks about getting rid of the babysitter. I’m glad watched it finally, it really wasn’t all that bad as I though it would be.

I will move this classic when I was a kid

Who remembers being a kid and seeing this movie preview in the early 90s and not hearing about the theater realase just for it to become a cult classic on VHS

The fact the mom up and left her 5 kids to a whole other country for 2 months like it was nothing and laughed at the thought of calling home everyday 😂

I actually saw this, at the cinema, in December of 1991. I was 11. I remember being a bit shocked by how quickly the Babysitter dies in the movie: from the trailer, it made it look like she was going to be in it for a lot longer. One of my fav movies of all time.

Of all the movies to get a "reimagining" for modern audiences, they should've just left this one alone.

I grew up on this movie, but in all honesty the new version is waaaay better, people can hate as much as they want, it wont change the fact that the new version is actually waaay funnier.

I liked this movie. It's one of those films that really, honestly, is a terrible script elevated by the acting to make it entertaining. The individual performances really do save the movie. It's one of those things were you remember the characters themselves more than the story.
