I tend to use my knife much more also for removing the stock. I just recently started using the axe more. That is partially due to the fact that my axe still has a thick edge. I will correct that as I have seen how wonderful it is to do woodwork with a small hatchet.
Ответитьnice carving horse
ОтветитьHave you worked with juniper at all? It's almost all we have here and it's like glass after it cures, hard and brittle.
ОтветитьGreat vid and nice Vostok
ОтветитьWhat axe do you use in this video?
ОтветитьGreat vid. Nice technique. Have a like and I'll give you a happy thump next time you make your way to the UK. ;-)
Ответитьlike the view but very bouncy
Ответитьholy moly! thats my story :)
Ответитьthat exactly what i did!
Ответитьhay can you give me the dimensions on that woodworking/log bench?. Like how many centimeters in diameter is the log?
Ответитьwhere did you get your watch!?!?
Ответитьso what axe u are using?
ОтветитьSay Heah, Yeah, I like a Basic Trio Carry also. But I don't carve. I just think it's a good carry in the bush. But just recently I bought my S. O. G. Pillar Fix Blade which I added my 2Hawks Double Bit Hatchet and my Wicked Tough Saw. I usually carry my Mora Eldris as my Neck Knife. In colder weather where I need to process more wood, I like to carry my Modde Rodent 6 which I had it thin down at their Custom Shop and I had tge top guard taken off now it L@@Ks like a Ratmandu on steroids. Really a nice piece if kit. With this knife I add my 17" Hultafors Bruks Agdor Hatchet and my new EZ KUT WoW Folding Saw and my Mora 510 as my neck knife. Yeah I like to Multi Carry Knives. Good review, keep up the good work.,,. p
ОтветитьIs your axe symetrical? Or is it right handed?
ОтветитьI’m assuming this spoon thing has died down after people made a stick to eat?
Still like the grain Work 👍
Thanks for the video! Super useful tips!👍
ОтветитьI've been hooked on spoon carving for a year now. I do at least 2 a day now, and just got the opportunity to sell them at a local business. I've been at it with applewood and my wrists are taking a beating... any tips to avoid fatigue? I'd hate to use my band saw, I feel it's cheating the end product.
