I am an audio engineer by education and profession. This claim based on a google search and playing with software you don’t understand is embarrassing to professionals:/
Ответитьchat gpt
ОтветитьChat GPT is the only thing stupider than the zetetic method.
Ответитьcheaters ruined gaming.
not saying HE is, but making everyone suspicious about everyone cant be fun
AI is creating a generation of chatGPT-tards who are going to go nowhere in life lol.
Ответитьhow you gonna have VIP in someone's stream, then turn against them like that? also, chatgpt in general is just unreliable. if you ask any AI language model even a slightly leading question, they run with it. this is why AI chatbots have blown up, because the AI just says what you want to hear. "I have suspicions these two clips might be spliced together", "ah yes, now that you point it out, they do seem rather suspicious, more info would need to be gathered-", "I've heard enough, he cheated!" like, bruh
ОтветитьFuckin clout chasers man
Ответитьbro did not cook
Ответитьgetting falsely accused of cheating is the biggest compliment
ОтветитьIts these kinds of videos that make me realize how much i don't know things
ОтветитьWe’re really in the era of people using ai as a form of education
Ответитьpeople depending on chatgpt for learning subjects are truly the most pathetic people
ОтветитьFFS, the things people use chatGPT for are absurd...
ОтветитьNot even joking, if someone accused me of cheating and an investigation was put on me, even though I know I am innocent and it is found I am innocent...I would lose all motivation to play that game.
I'd quit
I just can't stop cringing with the "I asked Chat GPT how to catch someone cheating". Oh God
ОтветитьIll go out on a limb and say Brood did what he could to investigate in good faith and don't quite blame him, but he needs to keep things more private and leave it to the experts next time. get a second opinion before going full phoenix wright
ОтветитьBrood is speedrunning community outrage.
ОтветитьThis mf flirts with ChatGPT and now he's him?
ОтветитьThis Brood chap serms quite...rude
ОтветитьI understand using chatgpt for ideas, but trusting it to any extent without going to actual sources to learn those ideas properly is wild
It gave bro puzzle pieces mixed up and he forced them to fit rather than learning where they go
I shouted at my screen when the AI use was revealed.
ОтветитьI use chatgpt 4 mini to learn college math and other subjects with bad teachers but come on how did it not cross this guy's mind this was a bad idea
ОтветитьFeels like Brood is the real speedrun cheater here by using an LLM to do his analysis for him instead of a true tutorial or training program.
ОтветитьDon't do a brood guys
Ответитьdunning kruger aka brood
ОтветитьThe biggest takeaway from this video is that Brooder is an absolute buffoon. Glad he was proved wrong and Blink got the WR
ОтветитьIm an audio engineer, BSc in audio engineering masters in Acoustics. Ive never looked into any suspected cheated runs but ive always been interested. Im not convinced the mains hum accusation is the smoking gun people believe it to be. I appreciate that sudden cuts in an otherwise consistent noise pattern can be evidence of splicing and im not doubting that. But mains hum in a musical term is not always consistent, there is constant popping and changes in amplitude, like for instance if you have a guitar jack plugged in and you touch the cable, that will effect the mains hum, your hand acts like resistor and will cause changes to the relative noise of the signal. I guess it's different with consoles and such but im fairly sure if you were to bump the console it could have an effect on the signal.
There are ways you can nearly eliminate mains hum and ways you can make it worse, in audio engineering terms there are instruments which are considered noisy, any instrument that takes an old fashion TS jack connection like guitars will produce a ton of noise, this is because the signal is what we call "unbalanced" it's just a live and a earth, the length of cable has a big effect too, long cable runs are way more noisy than short runs, this is because over long lengths of cable increase capacitance therefore increasing the noise of the signal.
So sometimes what i like to do is to use a thing called a DI box(direct input) this changes the unbalanced signal of the guitar to a balanced one which dramatically reduces the noise of the signal and mains hum. The DI box changes TS jacks to an XLR jack which has 3 wires instead of 2. All this to say, im sure if you were to take the audio output of a console and convert it to a balanced connection you would see little to no mains hum or you could just run your audio output through a filter before it goes out, there are tons of ways of avoiding mains hum and none of them are particularly difficult. I just think that if someone were so inclined to cheat they could easily take steps to overcome the issue being as it is a relatively trivial one. Though i will say that when talking about consoles and such i am speculating as i have never tried or tested any thing, so i maybe speaking out of turn.
There are also DAWS like Cubase and Logic which can add crossfade blending to audio cuts to remove
pops and clicks when joining cut audio, because it blends the signal the mains hum will be unchanged and it would be undetectable by spectrogram. Ive done some work for TV in the past editing audio and it's common practice to do this specifically to make sure the background noise remains consistent
Just throwing out my 2 cents
ChatGPT can't always correctly tell how many tuesdays there are in a month, how can anyone trust it with teaching them to do something
ОтветитьChatGPT is amazing but only if you use it appropriately.
ОтветитьBro got called out for splicing on a livestream? Yo what the actual fuck was that dude SMOKING
ОтветитьWhy in the hell do people trust ChatGPT?
Ответить"he asked chatgpt' ah, so it all comes back to ai slop big reports. 100 pages of ai slop to slog through, wowee.
Ответитьthis brooder guy is like 11 right (right?)
ОтветитьWhat I've learned from all of this is not to sling accusations unless you absolutely know what you're talking about (edit: you said he used chat gpt for evidence and I immediately knew what kind of person this was)
ОтветитьDRAGON BALL Z
ОтветитьWhen you have a conclusion and then you just made up whatever BS you can to justify it
Ответитьthis is the real problem with ChatGPT. Incompetent people who can't properly interpret the results.
Blink absolute unit for cooperating. Hope he is doing fine
My head audibly hit my hand at a harmonic 120 hertz when I heard you say chatGPT. Frankly, if you don't know what you're doing, don't make accusations. Consult experts and let their results speak for themselves. Ban this dude from relative communities for a time, honestly. This is childish, harmful and overall unacceptable behavior, but that also makes it a good learning opportunity for everyone involved (including brood).
ОтветитьChatgpt sounds so smart when you have no idea what you're doing.
ОтветитьHe wanted his karl jobst moment
ОтветитьDont worry guys. A few months someone else will come along and expose it as truky fake all along😂
Ответитьwow some people have no life
ОтветитьI think there's a valuable lesson we can learn from this:
Never trust ChatGPT for any reason, ever.
Alternate title: Salty observing speedrunner mad that someone else is better than him
Ответитьlol ChatGPT can easily give completely false info if you ask leading questions like this dude did
Ответитьguy should have asked chat gpt how the scientific method works first
Ответить
