$25 a stick and it cracks?! That can't be excused.

A $25 stick should be a pretty damn well perfect experience. No splits. That would have knocked it down below 90 for me.

I have had the Royale in the humidor for probably 9 months! It’s time to get it out!

I think this brand is rediculously overrated! Perhaps this is better? Show me Tim... $ $25+ is a price no cigar can justify! It's just like super cars that super deprecate. Thanks for the review!

I’m not saying Cuban cigars are better than new world cigars by any means , but if you ever had a real Cuban Cohiba like a siglo 6 or a Maduro , you would never even think of smoking a non-Cuban cohiba again ever in your life , the Cuban is radically better and only for a couple bucks more

I picked a couple of these up to try a few months ago from Cigars Daily. I had the exact same experience as you did Tim. Crack in the wrapper in the middle that didn't end up impacting it. Maybe something about how long those leaves are aged?

Overall I enjoyed the stick very much, and the ash was one of the best I have ever gotten. But I prefer sticks that are creamier and closer to medium. But, I think it's a perfect gift stick for that friend that likes fuller bodied cigars that deserves a treat, which is exactly what I did with the other one.

I thought the royal was great. Expensive, yes, and I didn’t get black pepper notes that some other critics have experienced. Overall, worth the purchase for a nice celebration.

So cohiba finaly did a good cigar out of the non cuban tobacco xD yet petdomo cigars are better for the price

I smoked twice, both time really disappointed. I got a better experience with the Cohiba Nicaraguan than this and I always keep a couple of those, so is not hate for the brand. That cigar price tag is ridiculous for what you get, maybe Cohiba should worry less about fancy boxes presentation price accordingly, maybe $10 to $12 is more appropriate for the smoke experience you get. IMO that is.

I'm smoking a Punch Diablo 6 1/8x 52 as I watch this. Got in thr freebie 8 pack with the two 5bpack deal of yours. good cigar with flavors of dark roast coffee, a lil cocoa with mild black and red pepper with mild spice. Tasty!

I’ve had it. Draw was way too snug for me. Flavors were there but the draw just pissed me off. I got a few more in the humidor so we will see if those are better.

Every Cohiba I've had cracks like that. Everyone said it was my humidity but years later I see it's still a problem.

I wonder how much the price or the brand of a cigar affects the reviews. Probably doing o blind test and see if the score is consistent.

Cohiba is my favorite brand I will need to seek that one out. I've had the red blue and black. The black is my favorite the blue is my least favorite. Because of the price I usually get them off cigar bid I can typically win a single for 11.00

I had one Royale and liked it so much I bought a box. My experience has been similar to yours minus the construction issues.

A 93??? Come on Tim. It took long to finish, meaning it had to been tight. The wrapper cracked. The flavors muted. And its its not worth the $25. I really doubt it's a 93.

I think that cohiba “ Behike “ is better, especialy with a good glas of Jameson.

I'v had a $20+ stick of a different brand and the flavor profile was absolutely terrible. I've heard Cohiba is good though. But based my experience, I don't know if $25 would really be worth it. Especially when there are cheaper sticks out there that are awesome and not cracked.

I had the robusto at my local B&M and was extremely disappointed. Average cigar priced at a premium. The guys told me the Toro size really brought out the flavors so I gave it a try... extremely disappointed again. I'll go back the cohiba blue.

I had the Cohiba Royale a couple months ago. It was probably not the best time to try a higher dollar cigar since I was so new. I enjoyed it, but would like to revisit now that my palate is developing.

One of favorite sticks so far.

gifted a few for xmas. half through one right wouldn't call it a 25 dollar stick good smoke though

I tried one a couple of months ago. It’s the best cigar I’ve ever enjoyed. Rich and smooth is how I’ll describe it.
If someone knows a cigar that is as strong and smooth as this one please let me know so I can try it.

I bought a box they were better after a couple weeks in the humidor. I aged a few 6 months and they were not good wrappers split had really dark ash and leather and cedar notes overpowered the first third

I have a question about a brand new box of Cohiba’s cigars. The box I received from JR cigars came wrapped in cellophane but the paper Cohiba paper seal on the box was already cut open. That sounds seems odd to me. Is that how Cohiba boxes are? The paper label already cut ?? Did I get spoofed???

It’s not bad but the Cuban Cohiba will always be the real king. Not a fan of the new world Cohiba and I’ve had the majority of them. But the Cuban Cohiba puros just take the cake, i don’t even care about the consistency of the draw, how it’s rolled, quality control. Can’t beat that Cuban twang!

I am enjoying the Cohiba Macassar these days, a very pleasant full of flavor and consistent cigar.

Got a pack of these from you guys recently and they are terrible, I’ve smoked them before and they were beautiful, any chance they are counterfeit? I’ve tried 5 out of the box so far and they are all so bad

The same people that made Cuban Cohibas strted the non Cuban Cohibas, what do people think that these guys who started Cuban Cohibas aren't the same people? They fled Cuba because the government was stealing their businesses.

I paid 32 for this stick and bought it as my first Cohiba along with the Riviera because I absolutely love San Andres wrappers. So far, because of the price, I’m not on the Cohiba hype train, but it was still a good smoke.

I’d like to see a head to head between this and my fathers the judge
