As someone who just achieved the platinum for this game yesterday, I'm really confused as to why I still don't know how I feel about this game.

Is the perfect combination of good and bad that melded together made an enjoyable experience. The bosses were definitely lacking, but the improvement to actual gameplay and exploration from the first game cannot be understated. Animations can now be cancelled, enemies have better damage output so they don't kill you in one shot every time, the parry system is actually usable in this game and the level design, although leaving a lot to be desired compared to Dark souls still gave me a couple of moments of genuine smiles with the shortcuts you unlock.

All in all the surge 2 is far from a perfect game but definitely is a major improvement compared to the first.

This is the most unresponsive game i've ever played. Good animations and nothing else. Garbozo

Worth the play through and MUCH better than Sekiro - I played all Souls and major souls-likes but Sekiro was so boring I couldn't finish it... I still can't believe the amount of awards it received.
