I love the concept, and hopefully Google continues to put effort in to this. I think this would be an awesome thing to just include in the G Suite Enterprise SKU at no additional cost

This product could fall into many cracks very easily.
Too restrictive for non-technical users (my choices from this product are too limited to get what I need for my business).
Too general for technical people (Why use this tool with reduced abilities, when I can have it tailored made).
Does your business own the software?
I don't think so, It''s done in the cloud, no access to the cloud, no access to your business logic. I don't like that.
Can these problems be remedied, absolutely.
Still, it's a very useful product, hope google fleshes it out more and builds on the idea.

Did not address cost. Seems it is free to prototype apps which can be used by up to 10 people, but to deploy apps more broadly one must subscribe to a AppSheet plan, the cheapest of which is $5 US per person per month. Publicly accessible apps with an unlimited number of users requires a Publisher Pro subscription at a cost $50 US per month per app.

Given the rise of the Robinhood generation, I wonder if a Stock Portfolio Management app would be a compelling sample app. Integrating the GOOGLEFINANCE() stock ticker data source would be necessary.

To be honest.....I am a developer for 26 years now and I'm trying to make an app with AppSheet.
I can not make heads nor tails from this tool.
First off all, the screens look totaly different from what is shown in this video and I can nog map my mind to the new layout.
Second.....when I see an app that kind of does what I want to build and I click tha 'look under the hood' button.......then I am totally lost and have no clue what to do.

I have always thought of myself like a cleaver guy that is good with software.....but that does not seem to be true anymore.
Is there somebody out there that is willing to guide me to correct documentation and maybe even help me to build my (I would think, VERY simple) app please?

This made no sense. Why was google drive and google selected twice as the data source? What was the purpose of this?
