An 11yo Reader Voices Their Opinion

I was at Barnes & Noble for a book signing and a child approached me and asked about the Alex McKenna books. When I explained Alex is transgender they were thrilled and asked me why there aren't more books with YA trans characters that don't focus on the transformation but rather all aspects of their lives.
