Massachusetts restaurant shuts down for safety after WWII reenactors dined

The fact that people find it fun to reenact the most frightening times in the lives of their forefathers disgusts me, no matter what they're wearing.
I find it to be the height of disrespect to soldiers the world over and here's why.
Both of my WWII veteran grandfathers explained to me the hurtful remembrances that these reenactments evoke when I was just a lad.
I will never forget the tears in their eyes during those talks, just like they never forgot the horrors they managed to live through.
My mother's father thought it would do them all good to reenact what he survived, the Bataan death march.

Come on people, like what's the matter with you. These reenactors are generally passionate about what they do. Instead of using this to maybe open a dialog and learn something maybe you didn't know about the history of WWII, you threatened a restaurant because a bunch of hungry actors wanted a bite to eat? With all the issues at home and abroad this is what people do, absolutely amazing. They're acting like these actors were there spreading a fascist agenda, that I could see getting up in arms about, but not this, this is ridiculous.

I do not understand why anyone would be upset at the restaurant. It is not like the restaurant was hosting some form of Horst-Wessel-Lied sing off and celebrating Hitler Birthday with a mustache contest. They were feeding hungry and tired reenactors that had been playing a role in an educational program.
