Pensioner Coach Trip from Newbrough to Maryport and Silloth on the Northumbria Coast C1970, F967

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the West Cumbrian water...the pensioners are out again on a coach day trip with Tyne Valley Coaches. C1970, pensioners in the area start joining the coaches from Newbrough village, and others are collected upon the way.

And the way is towards the West Cumbria coast. I know Maryport is stopped at and Silloth, but another location is stopped at after this, though I am not sure where.

The footage looks to date to about 1970. This is the last and only remaining footage I have of these trips...so I hope you enjoy how we once were.

This has been digitised from the original 16mm colour film. I do not know the name of the camera person, but their skill is evident.
