Can you equip a scope in this game?

Im worried about the balance of the game, it seems that gear is INCREDIBLY important. there needs to be a way for low gear players to outplay high gear players or it will be a really bad New Player Experience.

Embark already said there's only 20-30% of their total content in this test, just like they said that purple loot will be very rare in game, they just increased some drop rates for the test.
