I like that it utilizes the bitcoin blockchain. My question is to what extent and what nature?

But ION isn't publicly available and deployed yet right?

Decentralized IDs are the way forward!

Saw this on r/bitcoin but it barely has anything to do with bitcoin...

so are the ID transactions all written on the layer 2 ION network? I assume so but just wanted to ask.

Don't trust MSFT and BILL GATES at all! They want to track ppl and we lose all our liberties!

So.... what if you lose all your backups too.... are you screwed essentially?

Bill Gates is not the billionaire good Samaritan he purports to be. Since he is heavily pushing-backing vaccines to control the population, not to mention the ignoramus idea of the majority of ingredients in vaccines causing more harm than theoretical good.
He's not a smart for the good of humanity as thought.
So how could Bill-Microsoft be trusted to not have a backdoor evil motive in this?

Is there a possibility for abuse? For example, popular public websites not allowing access unless you share certain info.

Imagine banks saying you cant use their website because you have been identified as someone disagreeing with the government on another website.

This is why security is not better than freedom.

Those in power will become corrupt to protect themselves from criticism and pointing out their abuse. Then they will use their control over info to paint you as the corrupted terrorist.

This is made to control your access to information and what information you cam share with the world. Its being sold as protecting your info, when it really protects them from any ideas or information challenging their narrative.

Want to access the internet? Comply with anything and everything the government tells you to and dont dissent.

Want to go out in public? Take this and all future vaccines and never question what is in them.

For the settlement it would be necassary, that a transaction is made on the mainchain. What is with the transaction fees here? Does ION have to pay for it or are those transactions without a fee?

As one of the pioneers who design the first DID in production in 2020 for EU, EBSI copied us and we also tried to implement using ontology in China. We have some issues with ion lol, especially now im also designing the Catena/X but i obstruct haha to using ION sorry.
