There's also a flashing green but it's not used in the US, instead some countries do use it:
Canada (British Columbia): pedestrian-controlled traffic lights
Canada (all the other states): advanced green/protected turns: oncoming traffic has red, you can freely turn without yielding
Austria, China, all post-Soviet countries, Israel and many others: steady yellow is imminent

Edit: Flashing green is still used in some old traffic lights in Massachusetts, it is used in crossroads and it has the same meaning of flashing yellow and British Columbia flashing green. However they are outdated and not covered in modern editions of the MUTCD
