ОтветитьInteresting. My countries government is set to launch a recycling return scheme in a few years (where you recycle bottles and cans etc in exchange for money). I wonder how feasable it would be with crows, considering how I live in a pretty crap area where there's always tons of litter and trash.

ОтветитьI 'have' four (wild) crows and for whatever reason my four crows have a single raven in their group. Ive been building my relationship with them for about a year and unbeknown to me I guess the relationship started long before that it just took me a while to realize they had been watching me from the trees probably everyday. My black swedish duck had little ducklings running around the yard with her and one day i noticed that every time a red hawk or turkey vulture enters airspace over my yard the crows would show up out of nowhere and launch a full scale aerial attack. I started rewarding them with food every time they run off a predatory bird. They're still shy but they've started cawing out to me when i walk out into the yard. In the last month one of them seems to be warming up to me and will fly low (like 10 feet ) above my head. I also had one of them spot my vehicle and fly up close following me for several blocks to the house. I cant help wonder if it might have watched me leave and just been waiting for me to return. 😄
ОтветитьWell done, i heard this works. There's lots around me too.
ОтветитьI'd train any crow to bring me small bags of Cash & Cannabis 😁
ОтветитьI feed 2, one is more bold (I call him Elijah) and if I sit on the bench and look away he will come down and eat whatever it is I have fed him. They also drink water from my dog's bowl. The closest they come to me at the moment is about 2 metres. There's many who would, mistakenly, say that it's wrong to feed them. In actual fact crows are one of the most domesticated, wild birds other than the pigeon, as they have been living alongside people for hundreds of years. Therefore, as long as you don't overfeed them, it is completely fine.
ОтветитьWe should be friends 😂😂😂
ОтветитьCrowbox official has a device that will actually keep the peanuts, or whatever treat you have that's healthy for crows, in a clear box but will open when they put in a coin. I've seen similar devices that are like "dispensers" for crows and ravens. The key though is to establish that the box has food in it by letting it first dispense or have freely available food, then covered food, then some way to put coins (that are already there) in to dispense food, then hopefully they figure out to find coins elsewhere to bring to the box.
ОтветитьStyx Hexxxenhammer's long lost twin brother.
ОтветитьYo, try framing a dollar bill, put it outside and put some food infront of it. Pattern recognition is gonna kick in and they may bring back money
ОтветитьHow's this going?
Ответитьwhat if crows found out how to use money 💀
ОтветитьI've heard of people training them to pick up cigarette butts.
Try searching that. You will probably get some good tips.
I heard of this person in New York that trained a pigeon to fly around and find money!!!! This thing's taken money off of tables at restaurants outside😂😂😂 I don't care if I just have one I need one 😭
ОтветитьBe out there right as they gather and make them watch you put the food! Definitely number one rule
ОтветитьIt usually takes months sometimes years for crows to trust. Do not be discouraged 🙏
ОтветитьCan you perhaps do a follow up video?:)
ОтветитьI've made friends with the crow/raven in the backyard by feeding it peanuts and other things like that while sitting at a picnic table, and I live in the middle of the Bronx
If you sit outside in your front yard in the lawn chair in the morning when the crows come, and you toss them peanuts, then get used to you, and eventually they'll warm up to you to the point where they will let you pet them
dont givebirdiestoomany peanut buddy
ОтветитьAny update on this?
ОтветитьIt’s fascinating that they understand the barter system and think to reciprocate with whatever they bring in offering
ОтветитьMake a device in which if a coin is dropped in a peanut comes out a candy machine with out the turn handle
ОтветитьA crow vending machine that they can choose what they prefer
Ответитьamazing, i hope you will make some follow up videos ! good luck !!! :3
ОтветитьI wonder if you glued down a couple of coins to your stump, if that might give them some hints? I thought about doing this with jewelry. You could photocopy dollar bills maybe for the training.
ОтветитьYeah so I'm in Florida right off the Gulf Coast and I had this very idea because I heard about how crows will gift you. So I've got the beach to train one at. And you know maybe it can actually help me recover people's lost jewelry. Cuz I'll absolutely would post it instead of just taking it. But I could only imagine if you trained one proper how much s*** it could bring me. Lol
But watch you end up spending more money and peanuts than they ever bring back lol.
Imagine if you could train one to go swipe people cigarettes and joints out of their mouth lol. That would be so horrible but absolutely funny AF!
That's a very interesting concept I'm actually going to give that a shot I'm going to put food out and then money and then take away the money put it back take away the money put it back that is very interesting concept I've never done anything like this before but I live in a big city and it would be very intelligent to get some birds to do exactly that because it's a big city
ОтветитьA crow randomly flew up to my balcony and buried a peanut in my plant's soil. I think he wants to start a business.. Wish it didnt go against condo policy to attract birds :[
Ответитьwhats the update do they bring you money ? i was thinking of doing this with paper money
ОтветитьFrater K Ordus
ОтветитьThose actually aren't crows brother those are Ravens
ОтветитьIt’s like having your own little gang of thieves lol
ОтветитьYou need a trail cam
ОтветитьInteresting idea
ОтветитьWhile visiting my daughter in florida i started feeding scraps to crowd in her backyard. Soon they were comingevery day. When I had to go home she started putting scraps out there for them. One day she had a lot of meat scraps left after preparing supper and put them out. She went back in to do domething and when she came back she found the yard full of vulrures. On the ground and in the trees. She was surprised. Vultures are huge!

ОтветитьCan you train them to bring someone mail
ОтветитьBefore you know it you'll see crows working on Wall Street
ОтветитьWow thanks. I live in the forest. Have lots of crows. What interesting is I have pair that calls at me when I come out. I fed the dogs the same time every day and I put dog food up high for the birds. I’m going try to make friends with them. And yes they run off other birds. I see and hear them all the time. Thanks👍

ОтветитьThere's a guy in england that has a little crow that collects money. There's one video of it.
ОтветитьI trained my crows to send bitcoin to my hardwallet.
ОтветитьIm doung this but so far they only brought me a rotten piece of a deer leg 😂 its the thought that counts.
ОтветитьHow is this working out?
ОтветитьThey make you money and you pay them peanuts, like a real employer :DDD
Ответитьi tried this and it fixed my financial situation
ОтветитьI should try this. There are two banks 1/4 mile from my house. lol
