Something to add for Guild Wars 2 for people who want to get into the game, During the next few months they will be handing out the living world seasons and episodes out for free again during certain weeks. So right now is a perfect opportunity to at least test out the game and if you enjoy it, stay for the free story bits as well as Expansion 3 hype!

OG maplestory V55 and previous versions, and i would include when DB came out WAS GOLDEN!!. This game was simply god mode and if they brought back a OG server, id run to it asap

I do not understand why I thought it was a good idea to check it out based on a sidebar ad...but I had a lot of fun with it! Funnily enough, it's Janus and...I can't remember the other variant... are what got me into MOBAs 😅
But overall, it was my first MMO, and while I do feel it's pretty generic...at the time, it was my first MMO, I didn't know what the norm is, and I had a lot of fun with it, and I have fond memories of it!

How can you say WoW has easier pvp to jump into? Everything is maxed in gw2 pvp and gear doesn't matter. WoW, gear matters, and if you're just starting, you get killed until you're geared. Lol.

Just a warning to anyone who wants to look at flyff. it is no longer a balanced game. the people in charge of it decided to push pay to win so much that it became pretty much unplayable when I left (around 2012ish) unless you paid 50$ monthly. I don't know it's current balance, but every time I check on it, the exp and drop rates seem to just get worse. Flyff is not fun anymore unless you are ready to break open your wallet.

If you want to play an older game like that, stick to Vindictus. if you ever feel stuck on that game, max out the meditate skill, take a break, and a few days later you will have more skill points to help you get stronger and power through the dungeons.

tbf the best free one for me still has to be Warframe. for someone who usually goes for fantasy games warframe just does everything right. it's free, the combat is fun and there's plenty of variety in weapons and weapon mods
