Wait a moment, how does Kingmaker work? You choose another player who is your “puppet”, and if they win it’s actually you that wins? That extremely powerful and very un-fun for the player you choose as your puppet.

This is turning into my favourite strategy game, having so much fun learning all the sneaky tactics.

No one's playing Andromalius? The Fairest is, by far, the best choice. All of the others have to... do stuff. Andromalius just has to sit in his stronghold and wait for the Conclave to put the crown on his head. Maybe send a Praetor to correct someone now and again.

I really like this game but I do seem to be terrible at it. Your guys played so few turns but it felt like you did so much and interesting stuff was happening each turn. When I play I have to spend most turns chancing on trying to get exactly the right kind and amount of Tribute to buy anything and still can't get anything meaningful done until I get three orders per turn. Often feel like I'm just about ready to finally wreck some havoc... then the endgame hits before I get to do any of the cool stuff I'd been planning. Does seem to be a skill issue with me though, it seems plenty of other people are far more talented at this one and it's fun to watch people play when they know what they're doing.
