The black screen isn't black by the way its like a very deep deep red with a swirly pattern. Makes your screen look dirty

on the black screen i can see like a small dark red line, its hard to see (nearly impossible) if the color isnt black

YaY this monitor is much better! I returned my monitor for replacement because it had a few stuck pixels right in the middle of the screen. You could really see them on black because they stayed lit red and green. The replacement I received is almost flawless! There is no stuck or dead pixels, no backlight bleed (which the first didn't have either) but there is a very minor defect in one single pixel. The pixel still works, there is just a tiny sliver of something on/in it. Luckily this pixel is on the way far right side and you have to have your face 4 inches from the screen to even see it lol.

Shout out to Monoprice and their Pixel Perfect Guarantee. If you get ANY stuck or dead pixels within the first YEAR they will replace it on monitors that come with this extra coverage. I had just bought mine and I hate having to send stuff back but they were right in the middle of the screen lighting up red and green like a Christmas tree so I played the panel lottery and honestly call it a win. I am definitely not playing again lol. The Monoprice Dark Matter 27" 1440P 180hz (44-165hz FreeSync AND Gsync) is my all time favorite monitor, hands down! It has an IGZO panel which is essentially an IPS on steroids. When it comes to TVs I prefer VA panels but when it comes to monitors I prefer IPS. Obviously OLED is best but not worth the price tag IMO.

I just bout a new samsung odyssey neo g7, because its samsung I need to make sure I received a good panel haha 😄

the black is just an image to make it look like your screen has bad pixels. just for views on his other videos, if u minimise and scroll up or down, youll see the image stays still and the black screen doesnt show the specific spot it is in

HOLY CRAP I JUST DISCOVERED A DEADPIXEL ON MY SCREEN. NOW I WILL ALWAYS SEE THE DEAD PIXEL OMG RIP PEACE OF MIND. Actually, nevermind, I'll just send back the TV to Samsung lol ~ I forgot I have 30 days to return <3

At 4k, one dead pixel, if looking farther than 5 inches you can't even notice see it. Is it worth the hassle to get a replacement? max 2 weeks time to get a replacement, and even than you don't know if you will get another dead pixel on the other monitor.

I also thought the black was pressure marks from the wrapping. I have seen this SLIGHT purple before on pure black from pressure marks. FORTUNATELY I have my second monitor that is now my old monitor, and was able to see that... oddly ... my old monitor had the EXACT same swirly markings so it must be the video. Christ man.

I opened this video on my laptop and used hdmi to display it to my tv,when i pause the video,only then it shows some dead pixels?i dont know how to explain it but is there any thing i should be concerned about?
