Can you forfeit salvation?

I keep getting demonic dreams about death and not being saved this is so horrible to wake up to and your whole walk in christ seems ruined' But we all must understand the truth it is all lies and attack from the Enemy principalities spiritual warfare the enemy will constantly attack you with doubts and fears anxiety feeling of impending doom' this is how the enemy attacks us.

When I hear this and perhaps other believers including those who call themselves or claim to be BORN AGAIN, their mind bring up Philippians 2:12…

It is not enough that one has admitted to being a sinner, accept and declare Jesus as one’s Lord and Saviour as well get baptised,

I’m still dealing with this question and/ or doubt I’m I saved? And how can I prove it daily instead of thinking I have repented and receive/ accepted God’s grace through Christ Jesus?

This mindset is tiring/ exhausting and not of God

I don't read of Jesus or anyone doing alter calls in the Bible. Mass baptisms, yes, but never once do I read of anyone being led through a "sinner's prayer" to accept salvation. That's a problem with the modern church. Salvation is given as a free gift to God's elect. Humans don't seek it. If we are assured of our salvation it's because we've been convicted by the Holy Spirit so that we don't hold our belief, but our belief/conviction holds us. So, we believe even when it doesn't seem to make sense. Further, we are assured of our salvation when we believe in God's promise that whoever confesses Jesus is Lord and believes in their heart that God raised Him from the dead will be saved. We stand assured in humility, not pride, because we know we don't deserve the gift of salvation. The world gets in the way of these truths and sets us on a spiral. The world is too noisy and full of nonsense. We weren't created to live in the world the way it is. It's a miracle if anyone can maintain sanity in the mess we've created. I'm exhausted myself.

So far my therapist thinks I have MDD and GAD but I just know I have OCD so I’m praying it all goes well. I relate to at least 90% of what you’re saying.

Struggled for years with the unpardonable sin . I could write a book myself . God has gotten me through and I praise Him for it . Your victory will come , but I know with OCD … “yeah but …”

again so thankful the Lord led me to your page, I have never heard of religious OCD until now, and this is me to a T, it is a constant battle over and over in my head, am I really saved, am I really saved and it is pure torment, and the fact that is a heart issue ouch!!!!! now I don't go to the altar but it is like a needle on the record this is such a eye opener

I can tell you what caused my scrupulosity OCD was watching testimonies about near death experiences, and visions about Jesus. In most of those testimonies, the yoke is put back on the person. I have to stop watching those and just get my facts from the Bible. Because the devil can distort visions in near death experiences as well. That’s exactly what warped the joy that I had of salvation.

The Holy Spirit definitely led me to your channel Mark!!!🥺🥺🥺 Since the age of 9, I’ve been diagnosed with Scrupulosity OCD, and has been suffering with it for over 16 years now, to the point where it has worsened!!😭😭😭 As a result, I can’t even enjoy life with my husband, I turn down every opportunity to be happy and enjoy life due to my Scrupulosity!! Be mindful, I’m already a devoted baptized Christian who loves Jesus with all my heart, soul, mind and body😪😪 And still, I’ve been driving myself to depression and frustration in striving to be perfect!!!😭😭😭 I really needed this!!! Had to subscribe immediately!! Thank you so much Mark!!! As I’m listening your videos, the relief that it brings has me constantly saying “Thank You Jesus, Thank You Jesus, Thank You Jesus!”☺️☺️ I really hadn’t been focusing on His immense and everlasting Grace & Mercy!!😭😭

I’ve never had this fixation with my OCD tendencies before. Until recently when I heard a pastor/ dear brother in Christ I know and that I have had deep respect for starting to mock “once saved always saved” beliefs and coming across as condemning all in the name of scripture and the love of Christ while also saying his understanding of God’s love is different than most churches and believers in so many ways…I have been spinning out. I’m utterly disappointed by these statements. Might even say I’m heartbroken 😢🙏💙

I've convinced myself I am a vessel of wrath. I've convinced I haven't repented genuinely or enough. I've almost convinced myself that I've tried to be saved and God is going to say, "no."

This is a smart topic. I’ve been struggling with this lately, even though I was born again (in the supernatural, biblical sense) a few months ago. It can happen to anyone, I think.

Doesnt scripture say to take every thought captive?

I have been born again for about 6 years and I was always checking, checking, checking. This was a vicious cycle because I would watch video messages and the messages would make worry more especially the NDE’s that told about Christians in hell because they didn’t do this or that. There are so many of those and so many other messages about God’s wrath and how He’s “not playing” and He’s very angry with us believers who continue to sin. Many people claiming that they don’t sin anymore which I never could wrap my head around because there are sins that we don’t even know are sins that we do not even realizing. It got to the point that I had to delete the app. But thank God for these messages that bring me relief and encouragement. Praise God for His love and mercy 🙏🏻♥️

I know ,I’ve been through it .
Everything he has said is exactly what I had to do to break through to the other side and find Gods love and faith in him
I only wish I had marks videos back then because everything he has said is what I had to find out on my own. It took a lot of time and was very painful but it brought me to him who saved us

I today am deciding to walk out in faith to heal. I will fail at times, but I'm choosing to commit to leaving OCD behind.
UPDATE: It's been 3 weeks, and life has been so much better; it is like night and day. God is working miracles in my life, and I don't think OCD has a future with me. I went from crying and pleading for God to help then to stable and 3 weeks of almost no OCD. I think my issue was/is lack of self-love (healthy self-love, not pride) and a fear to accept love because in the past it would run away if I trusted someone's love.

This video is EXCELLENT and makes such good sense of so many doubts that people have, not just related to salvation. Brilliant.

I've been having chronic insomnia for over a month sleeping meds don't touch it started after a Bible study so feels like the Lord is against me... I have like days of peace but still have the insomnia just found your channel today and praise God you're a Christian

You speak of grace and unconditional love as a foreign subject...so ironic...I told my husband that I know the language of legalism. Love and mercy is a foreign language and as I learn it, I'm speaking broken love or broken mercy.

If you doubted you were saved during an alter call. And you didn’t go forward at the alter call to get saved because you were afraid of what people would think. I was thinking that others would think why is he going up, I thought He was already saved.And even though later you cried out to God to save you, you kept thinking I need to go on the alter call to get saved because of my pride of not wanting to.. then thought to myself I will go on an alter call at a church meeting where no one knows me. But then I thought,,I have to go back to the original church and do it there because I made up in my heart that I would do it anywhere but there. And I know that God does not require alter calls for salvation , but God wants me to do it because out of pride I didnt want to.
Is that God or does it sound like OCD thinking..

This is amazing, and receiving this had to have been a divine appointment. But with how he is describing my daily life down to a T, if nothing else, is embarrassing. I felt like the only one, but now I feel like I'm not special at all lol

I think i got saved when i was a child. Baptised at 14.
Then i went to a youth camp when i was 18.
I doubted my salvation during a meeting at the youth camp.
The preacher asked for those that wanted to be saved to come forward on the altercall.
But i didnt go up because i thought people would wonder why is he going forward as isn’t he already saved.
I cried out to God in secret but had no relief.
Then later i thought i will go somewhere else to give my life back to the lord on an altercall where people don’t know me. Which I have done even where others from another church in another town knew me.
But My initial thought was anywhere but my home church where it begun.

But I keep thinking that i have to go back to my home church where that happened and go forward on the alter call there to get saved because out of my pride i chose not to there.
And its not the altercall that saves but it was my pride not wanting to do it. And so God requires me to do it because i didn’t want to out of pride.
I an now 58 and this has been with me since i was 18.
Is God asking me to do this.’and also do i then need to be baptised again.
From that moment on after that camp meeting and not going forward i started to suffer religious and relationship OCD.
Now did the ocd cause me to doubt my salvation and feel the need to go forward. Or is God allowing These OCD thoughts to be a way of discipline to get me to go forward on the altercall at my home church where it began and I will be set free when i do it.

Wow, this is so helpful. Not enjoying your salvation or any other beautiful gift from God distracts us away from focusing on what’s good and settling on all the bad.
