ОтветитьShalom to all🌍
ОтветитьStill watching your old videos. This one was full of lots of interesting information.
ОтветитьHow do you prepare each week for Shabbat? Thank you 🙏!
ОтветитьI love your channel. Many blessings.
ОтветитьHi! Does this mean that your children don’t have to do homework on Shabbat? That sounds great! :D
ОтветитьI have an honest question- Are lights not permitted but central heat is?? If not, how do you stay warm in winter??
Ответить🙏🙏🙏 like from...🇧🇷
ОтветитьI am still confused.
Aren't rabiI working performing religious services for holy days?
You are a doctor, don't you get called in for emergencies on holy days?
I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your videos! Although I’m not Jewish, I love learning about your faith, culture, and traditions. It’s so special how you joyfully incorporate traditions that have been passed down for ages into your daily life. Thanks for sharing this with the world! 💕
ОтветитьAs a Conservative Jew I love your channel
ОтветитьI found the idea of Shabbat very beautiful. And you explain beautifully. Thank you. It reminds me of when I was fortunate to take part in Shabbat with a semi-orthodox family with roots all over the world and speaking many diffferent languages. very special.
ОтветитьThank you, Sara, for this very insightful video content. ❤️
ОтветитьDo Jews accept people that convert to Judaism?
ОтветитьBeautiful explanation
ОтветитьPlease are you aloud to do dishes after meals on Sabbath? Or do you wait till start of first day?
ОтветитьHow do you get to the sabbath services if you can not drive?
ОтветитьWhat happens if someone is ill on Shabbat and can't do all the things you do?
ОтветитьYou have a beautiful way of telling
ОтветитьThank you 😊. I love your videos.
ОтветитьThank you for the wonderful information
ОтветитьHi, i am a new subscriber and let me say addicted to your Channel. I hope my question isn't stupid but I just wanted to ask how do one celebrates Shabbat if the person is a doctor/nurse on duty and has to perform an important surgery?
ОтветитьMy question may sound like a joke, but it really isn't. If someone lived in the woods and their house caught on fire ons Shabbat would they put it out? I guess I'm asking if exception are made for certain situations.
ОтветитьAgain, thank you for helping this Christian understand tradition and law. I really appreciate the content and the insight. 🙂Be blessed!🙏🏼
ОтветитьShabbat Shalom! (Apologies for posting while you are possibly observing Shabbat, here it has been dark for a few hours already). I do have a question regarding whether something is permissible on Shabbat from an Orthodox perspective. Where I live, we are having our national election. Elections are always on Saturday and voting is mandatory for those with the right to vote, although it's possible to vote early if one cannot vote on the day. Would it be correct to say that even if one could walk to a poling place and thus not need to drive, voting in an election is not a permissible activity on Shabbat as this would involve writing? Todah rabah in advance!
ОтветитьHi there, why do you write G.od instead of God? Merci (from France).
ОтветитьGreat breakdown and explaining. Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьHi there, non Jew here. I’ve been on a spiritual journey over the last two years trying to refine my faith. I have a question in regards to the sabbath rules. What happens if you need to go to the hospital but it’s the sabbath? Like if you’re having a stroke or heart attack? You’re making others work…ambulance drivers, hospital workers, etc…and you’re using electricity when you’re there presumably. So are you breaking the sabbath by seeking medical care? Also, in regards to not using electricity, do you not use AC or heating during the sabbath? What if you have small children? Extreme heat or cold can often be fatal to little ones.
Thanks you!
Love the way you explain all these Holly LAWS OF OUR haKADOSH TORAH!!!MAY HASHEM BLESS YOU AND ALL YOUR LOVED ONES, ALWAYS AMEN ve AMEN!!!💗🕎✡💗
ОтветитьI was LDS (Mormon) for 10 years. No restrictions on electricity. We could drive, but not buy gas. We couldn't buy anything (like order pizza). We could cook. we couldn't work (we weren't supposed to). Women wore skirts and dresses to church but could change out of them once home (we usually wore sweats). Every first Sunday was fast and testimony Sunday.
ОтветитьBeautifully explained!
ОтветитьThis was a fantastic explanation. It made clear so many foggy things. Thank you.

ОтветитьI’m looking at converting to Orthodox- is it true that on Shabbat Jews are not suppose to brush their teeth, hair, bathe/shower or apply creams?
ОтветитьCreating isn't on that list, is it separate from the 39?
ОтветитьFound your channel from Sonya’s prep 💜. Thank you for sharing and explaining these traditions (is that the correct term) with us non Jewish folks.
ОтветитьLet us say that I have a four day workweek and I keep the shabbat on the correct day but I forget to do malacha on the other 2 days that are not shabbat
Isn't that the opposite of a mitzvah
The Doctor Surgeon does not know the Sabbath day, but he serves God with all his heart and himself, and his hands work for God and with God.
ОтветитьLove this. Such a good explanation. I love hearing about Shabbos, and you made it so understandable! This was a beautiful video. 😘
ОтветитьLove how you explain the difference between work being exerting energy and work as malacha. I always joke with my friends that I could spend Shabbos carrying a sofa up and down the stairs but I can't flip a light switch.
ОтветитьPS BLOOPERS are making me laugh every time!!! Seriously this animal is really in love with you guys!!!
ОтветитьTHANK YOU! This is a GREAT VIDEO and it makes it so easy to understand what are the work prohibited on Shabbat and better connect with the essence of Shabbat. LOVE IT!!!
