To answer Colin Cowherd's question of how would a thief sell Brady's jersey. I've been in world trade and Intl sourcing for over 30 yrs. When a person steals something like Brady's jersey, they don't have to go out and try to sell it. There are networks of wealthy private collectors, many are respectable (or at least appear to be) members of the community who have private collections of stolen memorabilia, artifacts etc. Once you know who a collector is (or his/her mandate), and what they like to collect, it becomes a matter of stealing it. The premium paid by these collectors are huge because of the story surrounding it. The fact that it is stolen, it's Brady's, and the theft made news.

Civic pride is important. Everyone who went to the Super Bowl said the people of Houston were Awesome hosts. Some guy stole from a premier guest of the City of Houston. I can absolutely see where they would take it personal. And I highly doubt that any violent crime was ignored to chase this jersey. More likely people who take things seriously found extra time to solve this case. Good on the local authorities.
