La descubrí en mi último ataque de ansiedad y depresión severa. Estoy medicada, en tratamiento, y aun así no logro sentir que salgo de esto, siento que simplemente estoy descompuesta, que estoy rota, que cuando comienzo a sentirme bien siempre hay algo que viene a derrumbarme por completo.
De alguna forma ya me había hartado y pensé seriamente en acabar con todo. Ya no siento que valga la pena vivir.

Pero luego llego esta canción, y me hizo sentir una paz que jamás había sentido.

Being an artist, I appreciate this song in so many ways. My mother is currently in the hospital passing away and this song comforts me. That’s how the light shines in. 💔 I just keep telling myself that. 😭

This is pure poetry and makes me cry every time. First time I listened to this song, I thought about my uncle who died 4 years ago and how I couldn't attend his funeral and say a proper goodbye... I didn't even know Lana wrote this for her uncle passing away, it made me more emotional to find out about it in an interview. And then, I lost my father 10 days ago. Kintsugi has been playing in my mind these days. But I just can't go through with it, I couldn't listen to it. It is too painful right now. Maybe in future, I'll open this song again and reminisce my days with my uncle and my father, not with this unbearable pain, but with the love I had for them, feeling grateful for the time we spent together...
