I re-watched after Deadpool and Wolverine and its a great movie but brutally depressing! Im glad Deadpool and Wolverone gave such a broken man a happy ending. Not same the same Wolverine but nice to see.

I binged watched all these xmen movies in chronological order starting with first class and ending with this one 'Logan'. Trust me after the binge watch, it's multiple punches in my gut. A+

Take away the Xmen angle, and not many people will watch it. This story has been done a hundred times before, and this is not a good one. If you love comics, it's for you, but not anyone else.

This "film" is overrated. If you think it is gory, watch Brain Dead. I tried to like it the second time and still left me like this 😐

so glad Jackman go to do an R rated version of Wolverine... you need the blood. Fantastic film. The Professor X accident was based on Wolverines demise of the x-men, they dont say it... but I think in this universe Professor X ended the X-Men.

One of the best films I had seen in a long time. Phenomenal soundtrack. Johnny Cash Hurt fitted this movie perfectly.

Little did he know, five years later we would get the deadppol 3 part Hugh trailer.

The movie was shit. It was a gory horror movie with "superheroes" in it. I want a superhero movie with Wolverine not Friday the 13th. It was depressing and morbid and had nothing to do with the X men. You don't kill off iconic superheroes. Hollywood thinks death is the only way to make a movie emotional and they've now incorporated it into superheroe movies.. A movie can carry emotional wait without killing every fucking body. It's just lazy story telling and lack of creativity that they decide death is the only way to grab an audience. Superheroes movies should always have hope !

It is my unpopular opinion that Logan is far better than ant MCU movie as far as character and emotional development as well as being believable.

I normally agree with you, Chris. Out of all the reviewers you seem to get it right 95% of the time, and one of the few reviewers who catch all of the nuances that make certain films great. When you compared this film to Christopher Nolan's Batman I was like Chris is the shit. Saying that the 2nd act dragged is not so accurate. A- is being a bit too critical. I may be splitting hairs but it definitely deserves an A. After the Dark Knight series, this is the best superhero movie ever made without question. The relationships make this movie special. Yeah, the action is magnificent but the actors deliver oscar worthy performances that are even better. The director took a chance with the second act. He kind of went Rainman road picture. But, it breaks the formula up enough to where you weren't sure how this thing was going to end. Loved it!

The Wrestler gave me similar vibes, an aging human with all the restrictions going with it. It's an A+ movie, especially compared to other X-Men movies you gave a A or A- ratings.

Revisiting this. This is the movie that introduced me to Dafne Keen. I've since watched her other work. I really hope to see her headlining more films. She is a fabulous actor.
