Fender amp sounds good imo

Yeah for sounds absolutely no tube preamp necessary. BUT to me a real guitar speaker is what you need to play with (inaudible) feedbacks. To me guitar and speaker is one acoustic instrument. FRFR or other PA speakers won’t do it. I would like to better power amps and speakers in the moddeling world. Like the Fender tonemaster amps.

The Dream and the Iridium sound fantastic. 99% close to the Fender amp. I would still take the real thing instead of the simulators though, if I had the choice.

I think it would have been better to dial the tones in on the amp pedals to match the real amp better, because the mic you choose to mic up the amp has a lot to do with the way the amp is perceived, esspecialy the dream having many different cabinet options on it

On the first lick on the Fender Amp what were your settings? Was that just the raw amp or did you have anything plugged into it?

amp is better at chords..Strymon is better at records

the Iridium just isn't very dynamic. I'd check out the Walrus Audio over the Iridium.

I have a fender 65 deluxe reverb reissue, and I'd recommend getting the real thing. Buy used. Save up cash so you can get a good deal.
But, the iridium is a great pedal. Strymon puts out great gear

I throw this pedal in front of an FRFR and it takes electrics, basses, and even acoustics so well! Takes pedals well also!

wow the iridium is so impressive it sounds just like the fender. to my ears the dream has a different flavor can’t put my finger on what it is. maybe it’s just EQ’d differently but i definitely prefer to iridium here!

Joyo American sound (fender clone) is just as good as the dream and costs 40 bucks

The real vs pedals isn’t the best comparison because the pedals have cabinet emulations which definitely alter the sound
