GM CEO: ''I'm Releasing My NEW Engine TODAY!"
In the eighteen hundreds, using compressed air was mostly for powering machines like mine trains and city trams, especially in Paris. But this approach was soon left behind as engines that burned fuel took over because they produced power more directly and quickly. Fast forward to the early twenty-tens, and Peugeot, a car maker from France, thought there might be something good about bringing back compressed air, but with a twist. They tried mixing it with the usual fuel-burning engine to make a new kind of hybrid car—one that didn't need batteries but was still kind to the environment.
Even though they made some interesting prototypes, these cars never got past the testing phase. Nonetheless, their ideas got some heads turning in the car industry, notably at GM (General Motors). Before we get into the details, it's clear that GM's new engine is far more revolutionary than anyone anticipated, and this won’t be the only reveal that will leave you speechless.
