My only gripe is the really thin and almost fragile finish on the slide. The day you start to carry it in a Kydex Holster, the finish starts to get jacked up. Over time, it really gets bad. I suppose you could cerakote it, but that ain't cheap to have done. That kind of defeats the purpose of staying in high value territory for a really nice firearm. Taurus is light years ahead of where they were just 6 years ago. Nice turn around.

I got a used GX4 with laser $265.00

I use taurus for work days where i have to leave my firearm in the car.

Sig uses very similar finish.

Does this come with the plastic in them like the g series? I have the g3 and the g3c. And both have lakeline steel furniture in them. Im just asking for this weapon because i plan on getting it. But want to order the parts before i get the weapon.

I noticed that both my gx4 and my tx22, both fit perfectly into my holsters for my s&w m&p 40 full size. Exact form fit in 5 different molded holsters. Is this strange ?

They do sell the carry without the optic cut out. With 2 , 15rd. Mags. In my area, the Toro is about 350 and without the cut out just under 300. At retail stores , cheapest prices I found as of 4/26. I picked up the carry at rural king for 299. Cheapest I found local.

Just got the carry had it for about a week and had to send it in because the front post screw wasn’t centered so couldn’t get the screw tool in to remove the front sight post so now have to wait about 4 weeks for turnaround. But for the time I had it it’s honestly the best ergos out of all my firearms. Just a very well balanced firearm. VerySlim. Super Light. Quality metal mags. Optics ready. Pic rail for lights and lasers. The only thing is it’s missing night sights but it’s compatible to Glock 43x sights so no issue finding a nice set of night sights. Plus the price point. Can’t beat it.

I own both the GX4 and the GX4 Carry, and carry both of them alternately. I have a Holosun 507k mounted on my Carry. My GX4 I added two round mag extensions for 13 rounds. The best handguns I currently own.

Where did you find for 299

Just bought one but can't remove the optics cover. The Hellcat Pro's cover came off easily. Need to get a tool.

The standard GX4 CARRY does not come Optic cut you have to add the TORO on it. Our Sportsman Warehouse got the in as a GX4 CARRY and they are not opti cut. I went in to buy one and it's marked GX4 CARRY and no Optic cut.

This is like a 700 dollar gun that goes for under 350… insane value and I’m definitely going to get this month.

I just put one on layaway. I'm an instructor and I have an inventory of rental guns that I use for an introduction to handguns class that I teach. I noticed that most of the guns in my rental stable all cost over 450 dollars so I wanted a budget option to let my clients try out. the glock 43 is a good representation of most of the micro nines so I went with the GX4 carry that way if they want something smaller I can tell them that they make the same pistol that's the size of the Glock 43. the non optic cut was 330 OTD at my LGS

Man I’m so mad I have the Gx4 xl and this is what that should have been from the get go, so now I gotta but this because this is what I wanted for the Gx4 as my backup. That being said the only only knit pick I have is I wished the beaver tail was slightly extended a bit at least for my hands that’s where I think they could make some real improvements to mitigate some more felt recoil. When I compared it to my g43x it just doesn’t shoot quite as well and I think that’s the main reason imo

Looks nice but I really didn’t like the trigger feel on my GX4, traded it for a Canik.

Picked one up in the Fall from Scheel's. Paid over $400. Have about 2k through it with no issues. My Tx22 compact holster works great for it. Put a Ameriglo Bright orange night sight on the front. Had a Red dot on it for a month or so. But realize I shoot open sights faster and better than the Red Dot. So i took it off. It's my EDC next to the Tx22 with stingers in it.

This is gonna be my next handgun. I dry fired the Gx4 xl at a gun shop and loved the trigger. I was hoping they'd come out with this bigger model and my wish came true. 😁

Wait, $299 street value for a GX4 Carry optic cut? Dang, that’s nuts. Can’t even find a standard GX4 for less than $350 out here in AZ.
Love the GX4 line, and really enjoy the carry version.

You're pretty off on your price..I'm yet to see this for less then 350..90% of places have it at 399..definitely not 299

The GX4 platform uses sights that interchange with the Glock family of pistols / which I believe is a huge win for the DYI shooters.
Makes installing Co-Witness ft & rear sights a breeze!

So I have had this gun 3 maybe 4 months with optic ..I don't carry my Sig anymore ...I love this gun and am thinking buying the small one for summer .m this is a beast ..get the lake line comp barrel like x macro and enjoy

It more comparable to the Glock 43x with 15 rd. Capacity . It looks nice, ergo grip good texture, pic rail , optic ready , the texture finger index point like TX-22 . At $300 its a good price !

Sigh....Yet another review of a pistol chambered in 9 Minimal. I have a G2c that has never failed to function, and it is very accurate, but I've retired it to the safe and replaced it with my equally accurate and function Slick Willy era Smith single stack DAO Compact in .40S&W.
