As you all know that with this video, a new series, “Tales from the Past” will begin on our channel. So, in this video, we will be talking about a ship, which brought a revolution in the shipping industry. Launched in 1906, the Lusitania was a successful ship in its career. It also held the Blue Riband for making the fastest crossing in the Atlantic Ocean. Onboard the ship, sailed many notable and famous passengers. Everything was going nice but then the First World War began, which changed the ship’s destiny. During the war, it was listed as an Armed Merchant Cruiser, though it was never used for this purpose. On 7th May, while the ship was en route to Liverpool, it was torpedoed and it sank in 18 minutes. This event raised many questions about how this tragedy occurred, who was responsible, etc. In this video, I tried to answer many questions, though one has to find them in this video.
