I will always remember the day I first saw and heard this video. What a classic ! I had heard of TVZ, but was not too familiar with him or his Music. I really recognized his genius on full display and was literally blown away with his brilliant talent. Townes was a quintessential storyteller, poet, songwriter, singer, guitar player. His songs will stand the test of time as being among the best ever writen. He inspired me to play guitar and many other's no doubt. I wish I would have known Townes when he was alive and wish I would have seen him play live. Better to know him and his Music late than never. I will remember him for the wonderful Music he has left for all of us to enjoy and be inspired by. Thank you TVZ ! RIP ! 💔 👍

it's bittersweet to see Towns so happy in these videos, having yet to be embittered and beat down by the life he lived and the hand he was dealt. I can't think of many other videos I've seen of him where he's this happy looking and sounding.

I think often about those who die young like Townes, the young, the brave, the very good. " the world kills everyone, it kills the very good, the very gentle and the very brave impartially. And it you are none of these, you can be sure it will kill you too, but there will be no special hurry." No wonder I have made it to 74.

This is incredible, but 50 years later, and hopefully forever there will always be musicians out there--as there was since time began--playing, singing honest stories if you want to hear them they are there.
