I am unable to post to the chat in your skool so I’m attempting to contact you regarding the new MAP feature. It should be an OPTION for those who want to be included. I prefer not to be.

ОтветитьMany thanks for your detailed explanations.
ОтветитьPrecioso. Espectacular. Me encantan los verdes...
ОтветитьThanks Man, that's class..really helpful tutorial.😊
ОтветитьOk but why do you need my phone number in your free lanscape link
ОтветитьAwesome. Love it. I learned this from Joe Paquet. totally changed the way I paint landscapes and other subjects. Gives a great foundation and much more dramatic. Even helps avoid that "ugly" phase of the painting we sometimes get. Great demo. Explains it well.
ОтветитьVery nice, I think I'm going to try that way of painting landscape. Thank you!!

ОтветитьHi Sam. Awesome video.
Love your new paint pallets preview in your video.
Will definitely give it a try painting my shadows first.
Thanks Sam.
Hi, this is Elmira, I just signed in for the free blue print , but I changed my mind. I loved your videos but at the time being , I will wait for more opportune time. Thank you❤
ОтветитьGreat tips, discussion and painting. Very helpful! Thanks for sharing your expertise.
ОтветитьSamuel bom dia. Muito obrigada pelo espetáculo de pintura!!!! ❤❤
ОтветитьThanks for showing the color mixes. It helps my old brain remember what they are.
ОтветитьThat is a stunning landscape - thank you for taking us through your process in it.
ОтветитьVery nice😊
ОтветитьQuestion, using the dark values method first:
I'm going to be painting a Van Gogh style of painting that has Cypress trees that sit "on-top" of the sky. Getting nice clean edges on the cypress trees "after the fact" of putting the sky in later will be difficult to do without making the cypress trees larger. The tree layer needs to be in front of the sky. How do you do this? Nice work, Sam!
I was taught to begin with a monochromatic underpainting like you are demonstrating. Way back in 1970's.
ОтветитьHmm I don't know if you had the problem I do now, but I never know where on the canvas to start from, for instance, if I start from skies I'll be stuck thinking if I should add more colors to the sky or just move onto other parts and remove the white zones from canvas...it always annoys me terribly since I don't know how to approach it in different stages, I see how you do it in your videos but when it comes to actual painting I cant deliver. I keep thinking I'm ruining the work.
Do you know how to overcome this problem?
