Got my limited X100VI today

Got lucky. Ordered silver model 11th March and got it delivered 3rd April. Dont let anyone tell you otherwise, its a wonderful tool with many capabilities and not a fashion accessory as some have been saying lately.

Let's do some simple math. Current production per month: 15,000 units. Months in year: 12. Current annual production: 180,000. Estimated order backlog: 500,000-1M. Ordered mine Feb. 26th. Houston, we have a problem. Looks like I'll be keeping my X100S for the foreseeable future.

Think I’ll buy the x100V until I can get my hands on a x100VI. Doesn’t seem like I’ll get it anytime soon :(

Figured why not and got on the pre-order list. At this rate, I’m hoping TTArtisan smokes this and I’ll cancel my order.

I ordered at launch and never got the item. Now it's saying next delivery isn't until June😡. I hate that people that usually use this camera can't use it and people that get it for show or for scalping purposes get them right away. I've been a fujifilm user since the Xt3.

I ordered 18 hours after launch and received mine (silver) on the 3rd April and It is gorgeous!

Lots of hype ... no product actually available. I ordered one of these ... and will be canceling the order after watching this Fijischmoozer obfuscate.

I'm calling BS about those who ordered on launch day have been fulfilled; ordered 7am and still waiting. The unavailability of so many Fuji products, especially the x100vi, makes you wonder if it intentional to keep up the hype for their products. Really has me considering a switch to the A6700.

When did all this madness start? Why did the X100* series become so desirable and sell out everywhere and why are people desperate enough to pay the silly prices immoral scalpers are charging? I simply don’t get it. The X100VI to me isn’t worth all this hassle.

Pre-ordered since february and said orders will come this april. Still no stocks on stores in our country but a lot of scalpers have a lot of supply with them. Good for them.

Yep I did pre-order on launcb. Back ordered still as of 6/1/24. No idea when or if I'll ever get one. I believe Fuji really botched this launch and I can't understand how and why the scaplers were able to buy multiple units. Saw one that had 45 units of each black and silver. I believe that fuji should have somehow limited one or maybe two to a customer. I know there's a special place in hell for scalpers but somehow they got them and the rest of us are without. I'm a loyal fuji user, converted from Sony years ago, and have the x100v, x-pro2, x-t5 but I'm now contemplating the purchase of a Leica Q3.

Let's be real. The stock issues are a manufactured marketing maneuver. If its hard to find people want it more.

Remember when fuji told us that they would be readily available and you could walk in the store and buy them

Still waiting on mine that I ordered in March. Got an email saying I’ll get an update after Nov 6 😒

I ordered mine in February a few days after launch, and after months of no updates, I finally received an email about a month or so ago that my dealer expects to ship mine in December. So, maybe in time for Christmas, but I'm not holding my breath.

I still use my X100F but because of this X100Vi unavailability BS I now hate Fuji. Forever. I'll just save up for a Leica.

Fuck fuji! If it's so hard to produce this camera, why is it so easy to suddenly produce the XM-5? I think fuji is PURPOSELY holding out on us with the x100vi. They could easily gear up more production for the x100vi. They have plenty of money to gear up for the new XM-5. Maybe they should consider spending more money where the demand is instead of a new camera for which the market is unproven. This is clearly a failure of a highly paid executive to do his job while raking in tens of millions of dollars in pay for doing such a poor job of managing their products.

I desperately want to buy this camera but finding one in stock anywhere that isn't $500+ above MSRP is supremely frustrating. Yes, I am a spoiled consumer. 😂
