Shredding tree roots is quite silly. It is a great load on the machine and all you get out of it is a worthless mix of wood and soil. Much better to pile them up in a giant hill and keep them moist, let nature do the composting. It may take a while but at least it is very cheap.

These machines eliminate those filthy, abandoned tires you see littered on the roadside. You know, those tires that become massive nests for mosquitoes when it rains during the summer months.
I think I once saw a video of a young African man (don’t know which nation) who took tires shredded up, and then convert this material into bricks.
Very ingenious method that will help with fight African pollution on the continent. Tires turned into bricks for future home construction.

I love watching/hearing these amazing shredding machines but find it hard to believe they have shredded nothing since five years ago, when this clip was released. Did it break dòwn? If not, then where are all the subsequent films? But whats really needed is a follow up film of the whole process, not just shredding, but then sorting, processing and what happens all down the line, ending maybe with ingots of reclaimed metals and power ratings from burning generated "Other materials".
