WHY ARE WOOD WINDOWS SO EXPENSIVE?! Unpacking the Cost of Quality Wood Windows

So in my area of the country (Midwest) I'm going with an installer that has a lifetime warranty on their labor and they're the only one in the area I know of that does. This installer carries Seaway windows, and I'm wondering if there's a noticeable difference between metal and non-metal spacers? Would you say it's a worthy upgrade to get non-metal?

I believe it used to be the case that non-metal spacers were far superior, but I'm wondering if this is still the case? Love the videos by the way!
