I hate every scene in movies where top notch military technology gets destroyed by something that shouldnt even have gotten close clawing or biting it apart. Even the rodan scenes in godzilla made me angry where they flew head first into the damn thing

Find it hard to believe Starscream participated in shooting at Megatron during the final fight because of this scene. He seemed pretty intent to taking out all of the F22’s & keep the airspace clear for the Decepticons which is actually clever.

Right and that is why in the movies it is so dumb that we could hurt them like how you said their own War destroyed their own planet.

Like I said the movie trying to make it interesting but in all reality people who fight over like yes we can hurt them no we can't if they gave them their true continuity and how powerful the Transformers really are regardless of autobot or decepticon they would wreck shop.

This scene reminds me why the later movies just dont work: they took away the US military's relationship.

The reason why, in my opinion, these films did so well was because it put us as the undersogs fighting with the Autobots isntead of the dogs underfoot them. Starscream kills like 4 or 5 dudes here and the soldiers immediately get ready to engage him, it makes Starscream terrifying but shows we're not completely defenseless.

The later movies making the military the villains or sucking off China really took something from the franchise.

Starscream is so dangerous because he has no counter on the autobot side. On the ground, the autobots pretty much can deal with those. But the sky? Starscream had superioirty and has never given it up. Made worse that he’s smart enough to retreat when need be, so while Optimus can jump megatron and ground him…he can’t do it to starscream
