Very informative video. I recommend "Robocop Vs. The Terminator", "Sub-Terrania", and "Todd's Adventures In Slime World" on the Sega Genesis.
Ответитьan ad for Chakan, F YEAAAH!
sorry you didn't like that game... but I never said it was good, just unique with a heavy metal atmosphere. (the game gear version is decent though)
I have fond memories of renting this as a kid, but remember it being difficult. I almost picked it up again recently. Recently kind of glad I didn't now.
Ответитьinteresting episode! and i just now noticed for the first time you leave pretty extensive writeups in the video description – i've been missing out!
ОтветитьI never understood this was an actual comic. I just assumed it was a cheap X-men knock off.
ОтветитьI got stuck with this game for a bit... I enjoyed certain aspects of it. To me it the difficulty was because you were human, not mutant anymore, and more survival. That was my logic. Without saves it was hard, but I could make it to the last boss... I died sooo many times trying to kill Slugo. I didn't beat it until I came back as a teen lol
ОтветитьI played this as a kid. I remember beating it consistently. Didn't think anything of the difficulty. Probably would get pissed now.
ОтветитьI decided to play the Ex-Mutants video game a few days ago after I bought several old Ex-Mutants comics. I didn't like the game very much (it's a pain to play), but I did enjoy most of the comics, specifically the Ex-Mutants comics from the 1980's (the 1986 to 1987 original 8 issue series, the 1988 six issue "Solo Ex-Mutants " series and the 1988 to very early 1990 fifteen issue Ex-Mutants: The Shattered Earth Chronicles series). However, I didn't like the 1992 to 1994 Ex-Mutants series as much (starts off pretty good where the earlier issues are fun but then that series falls victim to being thrown into a VERY confusing crossover event in the later issues, ironically called "Genesis". I normally like it when comics get thrown into a crossover event with other characters from other comics, but this one was a pure mess). Overall, I do enjoy the Ex-Mutants and I do wish Marvel would bring it back. Unfortunately, that can't happen due to some weird legal crap (while Marvel bought Malibu during mid 1994 and owns Ex-Mutants, there are weird legal entanglements from former Malibu comics employees which have kept Marvel from using most of the Malibu characters).
