I see why a lot of cities infrastructure fall apart. Watching a lot of these city meetings it’s like watching chickens bicker. The corruption, pettiness, and lack of actionable progress is disgraceful.

I've been seeing a lot of these communities going after their City Councils lately, and it gives me such great joy to see people fighting back for once.

Oh corruption in local government is rampant. After 6 years in the trenches I moved up to management thinking I could make things better. I was invited by the Business Manager "Out for drinks". I turned down the offer and from that moment on everyone above me did everything they could to force me out. Eventually they told me they were eliminating my position and to let them know another role i could fill. I submitted my resignation. I left with a ton of information on bid fixing, skims, kickbacks, you name it. One proper investigation would tear the top off that City government all the way up to the Mayor.

Whew. I see real estate values plummeting in that burg.

It’s taken all these years and what these man & woman who acts as public servants have done to the people and the country to wake up the people and make them see what these people are really like and how corrupt and evil they are .
Now the people are taking back what’s theirs and is paid for by the people.

The newly sworn in attorney dodged a bullet by resigning. The freely given comments by council is what can get em sued. These folks need to learn what executive session means. There is absolutely no respect for this council.

Americans from coast to coast have EVERY RIGHT to distrust "government" on every level after the experiences we've lived through the past decade at the hands of "government" who toiled daily to dismantle and leave it in ruins. Sellouts to the highest bidder turned their backs on citizens and did what they were instructed. We don't trust government, corporate media, the justice system, law enforcement, lawyers, judges or courts. We don't trust hospitals, physicians, big pharma or the generic unnamed "experts" who are constantly used to prop up some ridiculous policy that in the end, puts cash in their pockets, hurts the public and puts the town a little deeper down in the hole!

Wherever this place is there is a huge need to retool your council here, remove the lot and regroup with a fresh slate of people who have standards, morals, character and capability to do a good job in that seat or the silly circus will never end and the town will go broke! They already have a criminal history performed, but these ppl are giving their time while making maybe a few hundred dollars a month as a council member. It's the principal of the point here. Their taxes should be in good standing & have a consistent history of such. Other than that, good luck finding ppl to serve you nosey ppl. You do realize they aren't the ones who have physical access to any money don't you?! They do not share the same security access as regular employees do. i beg to differ, he should've stuck with it, he was the right person for the job, he just didn't realize it... he could've recognized this (as he did) but if he had been ready for the task to act on it differently, he could have infilitrate the system and metamorphasize into a mole and expose the corruption, friend with the enemy, do it; that would have been a real story to tell, this is just a story that gets lost in the mix, fight.
