Award-winning filmmaker Ricki Stern ("Reversing Roe", "Joan Rivers" A Piece of Work") returns to Filmwax for her 3rd visit. Ricki has directed a new documentary called "A Radical Life" which is currently streaming on the Discovery+ platform.

"A Radical Life" takes an unfiltered look at the life of Tania Joya, the one-time 'First Lady of ISIS' and her 10-year marriage to John Georgelas. Georgelas was a Texas native who rose the ranks of ISIS when they met online and quickly married, uniting their shared dream of establishing an Islamic State. But when Georgelas relocates the family to Syria at the height of civil war, Joya begins to question everything she believes and must choose between her marriage and her children’s future. This is the exclusive stranger-than-fiction story of two star-crossed lovers told through Tania's unique POV.
