This exactly the video i was looking for. I just bought g.o.t.y Fallout 4 for ps5 and after coming back to it the first time after so many years i have completely forgotten everything about it. I got a platinum trophy in 2016 on ps4 so i played quite a bit back then but now i cant even find my weapons. I only have a pistol in my inventory lol.

I remember there being some kind of boost for jumping higher with power armour but i cant find how to do that either. It's going to take days to learn/find those things again.

Do you know any good skins or mods that works on ps5 ? I'm playing the ps4 version on my ps5. And nice video jusy subscribed and how to apply on pip boy. Also is there a cheat like a whistle to do when you loose dog meat that he wonders off it's hard to see him sometime. I'm still not giving ING him up I love dogs lol ❤. Could've sworn there was a way in game to toggle between the normal pip boy menu and the simple power armor version.

The lightning bolt means Energy resistance (damage from weapons like laser, plasma, and element damage from melee weapons like fire, cryo, and electric), not electricity. Just a correction.

I really recommend the Classic Radio as there are some epic pieces there like Mars (Gustav Holst) or Ride of the Valkyries (Richard Wagner). Sometimes I get bored of Diamond City Radio and it great they added the Classic Radio too.

What does the clock symbol next to hp mean?

Also useful to know that time stops while using pip-boy and you can spam a bunch of food and drugs to get multiple effects going and greater healing.

If you find a mining helmet with a headlamp it replaces the omni-directional pip-boy light with a focused beam like a torch, this has both upsides and downsides.

In Data: Workshops lists your current unlocked settlements and their status.
In Map: Local Map is occasionally useful, but its generally too vague to be of much help, but when in a maze it can help.
You need to have visited a location to Fast Travel to it, and you can only Fast Travel from exterior cells.

The lightning bolt is general energy resistance, not just electric, protects from laser and plasma energy weapons, as well as electrical damage. Physical resistance is against any kinetic impact whether from a bullet or a baseball bat.

The body parts that can be individually damaged are head, left arm, right arm, left leg, right leg and torso. Same as armor pieces. Crippled legs impede your movement, arms your aiming and head your vision.
Also on that first stat page where you can see the damaged body parts,, you can apply a stimpack directly to a damaged part to give its full effect to that part, useful if your head is crippled, but the rest is fine, just taking a stimpack normally splits it between all 6 regions.
Hp restoration is same either way.

Would like just once to see someone Like you Ol School Master, play this game Without Vats. It's how I play any of the Fallout games. Much more of a Challenge then with a built in cheat system. (Yeah i know it's a chance thing but still a cheat system no matter how you look at it.) Makes the game more of a FP shooter, Builder game without it.

I move the key for vats to a key I never use on my Keyboard. And the one Mod I have used in the past was to remove that function of the game as much as I could.

This was to keep from breaking immersion in the game. Now days i use a lot of mods. But still like the fact of no Vats so don't use it still to this day. Wished Bethesda had made a toggle in the options game area of the game to just turn it off would have simplified the game and made it much more of a challenge.

vault boy is actually not related to pip-boy, pip boy is an actual mascot of pip-boy, and vault boy - I don't know even if he had a name (he was the perk boy in the original game) - this all is a bit confusing since bethesda is hardcore retconning the lore of original fallouts, and making/trying to make it all super mainstream, and connected...you know like people in alabama?=D



PS: did a check up, he was a skill-guy..basically a no-name-character that is a bit on that vault-association-tip.

Did you notice at the bottom of the screen when you first open your pipboy there is a little notation bar. It has two options available. One is to use a stimpac without going into inv and finding one. If you rewatch the start of this you'll see it there. There is 2 quick options to help in combat.

My main question. I am doing a sniper build. But I'm not using v.a.t.s because I find the slowmo a bit too confusing. I just rather pull up a scope and pick off raiders and scum one by one.

One thing about the Pip-Boy radio I've wondered about, does it affect stealth? The game specifically tells you in one of the loading screens that having the Pip-Boy light on will lower your stealth... but what about the radio? One would think having it on would give you away... but I have yet found anything to 100% confirm or debunk this.

I began playing this series with FO4. Didn't look into the previous iterations. Boy did I miss out. This game is incredibly fun and immersive for me. Its the exploring, obtaining and building I like so much because I am a mech engineer. Love designing and building.

I have a weirdness happening and don 't know where to google for it, in tutorial of fo4 pip is already on my arm, and no idea what mod is causing ?
I worked out why it happens, Mod author steve40 made a universal shower n sink mod , which affect ALL even ones in tutorial, so for fun I took a show after character create, and when my clothes were re quipped, so what the pipboy xD lols
