Upgrade firmware TV box android (TX3, TX3 pro, TX5, TX5 pro) fix problem app play store and youtube

This pertains to the last firmware update. The box is still painfully slow and has many issues. My old Vigica box with android 4.2 is much faster but has issues with apps. Does anyone know of a new firmware update or any workarounds to get this box usable?

what is the point of this video? ... seriously

the img file cannot be extracted. i have tried 100 tools...it wont extract onto SD...only copies the .img file to the usb
