An excellent interpretation.
Nevertheless, this composition sound far better when played in harpsicord, I reconmend the interpretation by Jean Rondeau, or the best one made by Rafael Puyana .

One of my all time favorites! This whimsical piece goes into all kinds of gyrations all over the keyboard. It's a crazy exploration of of the endless possibilities of music. Padre Antonio Soler was indeed an under rated composer, he wrote this in the mid 1700's and studied under Scarlatti for a few years. Thank you for posting this Stephanie, you did a fabulous job. I also like the harpsichord versions by Scott Ross and Mayako Sone.

Hello, Stephanie. This is my favorite fandango, and your rendition is beautiful. Have you heard Jose de Nebra's Fandango de España?Soler was a student of de Nebra, and I think he borrowed a few things from his mentor's fandango. Thanks for posting these beautiful pieces, and good luck!

J'en ai entendu des versions du Fandango du Père Soler, au clavecin evidemment, au piano, pour deux guitares et aussi pour tous les instruments possibles. Celle-ci est une des plus stupéfiantes et les mots me manquent. Géniale, grande et humble à la fois. Un monument revisité. Bravo!!

Esta música foi feita para cravo e no cravo que ela alcança sua máxima expressão, porém , é maravilhosa no piano também !
É para virtuoses, ela exige tal talento, mas nada fica "demais" nesta peça: ela brilha e se "acende" com o virtuosismo seja no cravo seja no piano.
This piece was made for harpsichord and on the harpsichord it reaches its maximum expression, however*, it is *WONDEFUL on the piano too !
It is for virtuosos, it demands such talent, but nothing is "too much" in this piece: it shines and "lights up" with virtuosity whether on the harpsichord or on the piano.

Esta pieza me recuerda mucho (la mano izquierda) a una pieza venezolana llamada Joropo de Moises Moleiro la conoces? Seguro que la tocarias muy bien. Hay muchas versiones grabadas y una de las que mas me gusta es la de Rosario Marciano.

Magnifique interprétation ! De loin la meilleure sur un piano. Si Stéphanie pouvait la refaire sur un bon clavecin, ce serait génial et on pourrait la comparer à celle de Scott Ross.

Sus dedos parecen volar. Sensibilidad, pasión y seducción al servicio de una obra maestra y realmente difícil. Esto no es sólo una interpretación, es una re-creación. Gracias!
