Hei make video abaut your buss interjer =]
ОтветитьPractical, interesting and informative.
ОтветитьGreat tip. Brill thanks
ОтветитьAfter taking a second look at your video, the only thing different between the type2 and the type 3 is just the swing arm/bearing housing position. Thanks once again for your video.
ОтветитьHey. Really good video feeds you are making :). I can see you got a pretty cool winch mounted on your T3. Where did you buy it ?
ОтветитьHi, it is just a cheap one fro Ebay but it has served me well.
ОтветитьSorry for my English. Thanks for the video. very detailed and clear. Subscribed to your videos. Watch for more than a year. Want to buy T3, looking version of the conveyor 84 year, with the gasoline engine 1.9. Thanks again for all of your video reports. And for your site.
ОтветитьNo problem Mike. Jed
Ответитьhmmm.....hub refitted at 4.50 but with NO brake back plate on ??????????
ОтветитьDeffo useful
ОтветитьThanks for taking the time and sharing this video. Very informative and helpful tips.
Ответитьawesome, thank you very much!
Ответитьthanks I need to do this exact job, great help cheers
Ответитьi did thanks
ОтветитьThank you for the great tips.
ОтветитьUnbelievable - thanks to you for posting your Videos. They are amazing and sooooo helpful. Greetings from Austria and please go on with your knowledge from the T3 Syncro.
ОтветитьGreat video, I'm planning to do the same. I just can't get the big nut off. The long pipe didn't work for me. I even put a jack below the pipe. Any tips for that?
Ответитьnice one jed just done this job excellent how to
ОтветитьGreat video, though it's a hub swap ;)
ОтветитьRemoving the hub worked perfectly, I changed the bearings in the old one but I cant get the hub on again. I've tried pushing it on using the bolt and different distance rings but it won't go on. Do you have any tips ? Thanks from sweden!
Ответитьthank you,from hungary
ОтветитьCheers for the Videos mate.
ОтветитьThanks for the video, how do you know you have 360ft/lb on that nut when using a leverage bar? :)
ОтветитьHi!
These "quick tip" videos are really usefull. Thank you. :)
Did the wheel bearing as per video. Spot on brilliant thank you. Good job done quick and easy. Once again thank you....
ОтветитьGreat advice. 👍🌟🌟
ОтветитьGreat video! Really informative and helpfull! Thanks!
ОтветитьThis isn't a bearing replacement, it's a simple bolting off and bolting on of the hub (here's one I made earlier!). The bearing replacement procedure is totally different to this, and doesn't involve disturbing the brakes at all.
ОтветитьNice one. Just saw another video where the drive shafts were taken out, so this is a much easier way to do it. Cheers!
ОтветитьThanks for the info. Like the fact that you don’t need to disconnect the drive shaft with your method! Top marks🤙🏻
ОтветитьThis video just saved my ass, thanks man 👌
ОтветитьDan!? Can I run something past ya. I read several cats do the same as you (for obvious practical reasons) in having a spare fully assembled spare rear bearing carrier assembly with bearings ready to go. My question is how do you then manage threading the axle back through a loose spacer between the bearings? Do you keep a wooden rod or something in there to keep it in place which you pull out as you thread the axle back through? Or some other mad crazy clever trick? Thanking you in advance. Big VW Love.
ОтветитьWho would of known that I would stumble on this video. Jed you look way different! Pleasure meeting you at syncrofest!
ОтветитьThank you for the tip of leaving brake assembly in one piece, very helpful. Btw do you tighten main nut while car is on the jackstand, meaning all pressure goes to gearbox? I wonder if that can damage gearbox.
ОтветитьThat was useful ty, my rears don’t have anywhere the play yours do. In your opinion is it better to remove the hubs and replace the bearings using this method or remove the drive shafts and install them insitu?
ОтветитьUCD on license plate.... University of California, Davis. 😊
ОтветитьNo axle stand, all on a hydraulic jack !!!! great tip but very dangerous practice.
ОтветитьThats great if you carry a spare hub which is pre loaded with a new bearing........
ОтветитьNicely taught 🙏
Ответитьthanks for the video. Would have loved to find out if the bearing housing was oval. Have the same issue with my two rear wheel bearings at the moment.
ОтветитьQuick question
If doing it this way how do you get the drive shaft back???
