Inspired by the great American drums from the 50s, 60s, and 70s, 12th & Vine features a 5-ply shell with a Poplar Core, 7-ply maple reinforcement rings, and our Los Angeles bearing edge. The Poplar core warms up the shell and absorbs unwanted overtones, while providing a sound that's equally suitable for live or studio use. This line comes standard with 2.3 mm triple flanged hoops and C&C single-ended Deco lugs.

5-Ply Walnut/Poplar/Walnut

A reference to the classic sounds of the 1950s, our Mahogany/Poplar ply configuration is one of the warmest C&C shell configurations. Depth and character are more pronounced in quieter, softer musical settings, while fat, round tones come out when things get louder.
