Why doesn’t overwatch league have female players?

Here are a few facts that need to be put out here for triggered people:
•women can play video games and be good at them
•not all female players are mercy mains
•majority are mercy mains but there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with that, let them play mercy in peace
•a lot of females to play dps or male characters and there’s NOTHING wrong with that
So in conclusion let us females play mercy or not play her if we want in peace and females can be GOOD at video games oml
Not let’s all just be positive and play the game for fun

If male and female gamers are supposed to be equal and both be called gamers, then why are we pointing out that she’s the best female? We don’t say “___ is the best male”, do we?

Well, just because body physiology is not taken into account does not mean that, boom, the average female player can compete against a male player. Dont get me wrong, I was super disappointed when barcode said no to joining a team. But statistically speaking, there is less than 16% women in the top 500 (16% being the figure of female players in OW), so saying that there is no reason to have no female representation in OWL is just a flat out lie.

Anyways, hope she makes it and ignores that haters who legit dont want women in the OWL.
