I hate to say this but I relate to this song so much. I’m 14 and ever since I was four my dad has been absent a lot. Like one week he is at New York and then the next week he’s at home. But thing is when he’s hat home I don’t even see him that often because he’s working. When I look back on my childhood i don’t remember him. I’m scared I’m going to forget my dad. It’s not his fault but I wish I could see him more. Next week is my eighth grade graduation and he’s not going to be there because he will be in New York. I wish things were different.

I'm so thankful he did because from then on I got to live with my beloved grandmother who I worshipped and adored to such an extent that I never felt like I needed anyone else.
