There are fill in the questions both in Reading and Listening in computer based, so if one is not sure whether first letter should be capital or not then should I write all of my R and L answers in CAPITALS, to be on safe side. Is it acceptable in idp and British council?

Hello, I have an unresolved query if you could help me with that please. How do I write TIME in listening test when it says one word and/or a number, or two words. 9:30 AM. Does the colon make it two numbers? One word? Or should I just write "930" military time?
