Can I replace the lights with uv black lights?
ОтветитьI’ve purchased many led foldable lights. I have found that many do not meet the amount of lumens they advertise. Today I received a pair from EBay. Advertised to have 18,500 lumen output. They put out less light then the two 6,000 lumen lights I was going to replace them with.
ОтветитьI purchased two of the 'paddle' type lamps shown at the start of this video having watched another video showing how bright they were. I purchased the lamps thru Amazon. Having installed the lamps I found my garage door remote would not work with the lights on. Nor did the DAB radio due to interference. Having done a bit of research it seems that these cheap Chinese imports are not made to the same standards of reputable manufacturers. I ended up purchasing LED batten lights from a known manufacturer with no interference issues. Buyers beware as cheap LED lighting can cause interference with nearby electrical equipment.
ОтветитьI think you got ripped off. I bought some of these lights off of amazon and the led strips are encased in metal that has heat sinks and slots for cooling. The ones I bought were a 2 pack ($35) and each had only 3 arrays. They light my basement up like it's daytime. There's plenty of competition and many sellers selling these lights. I'm sure all are not equal. The dollar store sells LED work lamps ......are they the same as (example) snap on tools ones?
ОтветитьThe ol' Dollar Store plain-Jane bulb had the best lighting in my opinion. I work at a repair bench all day withe led bar lamps, so after seeing this video am going to strng in a few plain bulbs from downward reflecting housings over the bench. Have a feeling it's going to be much better, with warm light temp .. thanks for the video.
ОтветитьThe multi panel LED are great at first. I’ve tried two different sellers on Amazon, and each have only lasted less than a year. I think it’s an issue with cold (I live in Canada).
ОтветитьI would love to try these in my garage would love to get one
ОтветитьMy boss just got two of the smaller ones for my shop. Even with 14 foot ceilings they look terrible. And forget if you're kneeling down doing something and have to look up at anything. The color of light just hurts.
Ответитьhow are they holding up i was going to get them for shed
ОтветитьI would love to try it.
ОтветитьLooks too harsh
ОтветитьHello, could you please let me know how to replace an existing recessed light (mostly used in kitchens) with one of those 3-panel garage ceiling LED light (which has a E26 screw-in end, like a light bulb)?
ОтветитьHate the blue hue …
ОтветитьI want to try it out
ОтветитьGreat video sir I really would want to try one of those lights
ОтветитьMy light went out.
ОтветитьI bought mine on ebay new for $16 for 2 with free shipping. Don't be ripped off folks.
ОтветитьI have one that does 7000 lumens, its awesome
ОтветитьI want to try the lights
ОтветитьI bought one for a few more bucks that where actually metal and used the metal as heat sinks to keep the LEDs cool as possible the manufacture is called LZHOME and it can be found on Amazon. The heat sink will drastically prolong the life of the LEDs they’re about 25 dollars
ОтветитьMy dad’s birthday is tomorrow and I need one for him can I have one??
ОтветитьThanks for the video. You did a great job showing all the comparisons and skipped right over all the bs without wasting a second of time. Very well done I really wish more creators were like this.
ОтветитьI want to try it...I'm in humble,tx
ОтветитьI have 9 led deformable lights in my new garage. I have various one’s burning out in a short amount of time. I’ve tried various brands as well. Any ideas?
Thanks
I bought an 80’s house—1 bulb in the middle of a 2 car garage. The panel led was a quick fix. Didn’t have to replace or add any fixtures. The proper thing to do is add more lights around the garage. Either 6 standard lights or maybe 3 tubes.
This product is also great for renters because it’s quick and easy.
I've had the threaded ends detach from the plastic body leaving 2 wires, how do I fix this?
ОтветитьI've tried 3-4 of these and in every case the lumens were vastly exaggerated.
ОтветитьThanks for the info
ОтветитьI want to try it

Ответитьyear late, but I'd love to try one of these to light up my cabin in the woods. Using a tiny lamp fixture, and one of those big power packs with the standard outlet.
Ответитьi would love to have one
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьI bought a three panel 4k lumen panel set for my garage with a 9 foot ceiling. Here is my takeway.
1. It is brighter and provides better lighting than the single LED bulb it replaced. But the caveat is that it is a 3 panel fixture and I adjusted each panel to distribute the light where needed. I've seen many of these 4 and 5 panel setups and I honestly don't believe that they provide anything additional over a 3 panel, in fact, they may be of lesser value to a shop worker.
2. Cool white and slightly bluish-silver lighting can be hell on the eyes after a while.
I would love to give this a try to see if it helps in my garage
ОтветитьStill have one of these bad boys laying around?? 💡💥💯
ОтветитьGot two for 24$ canadian 185 watt each . Using it for growing plants it works amazing. Grow lights cost 600$ for the same watts
ОтветитьI would like to try it
ОтветитьI've gone through several of these multi-panel lights. I have yet to find one that lasts for over a year. Some of them died within a month, while others lasted longer, but they eventually gave-out. I've tried all different brands, though I suspect they all use the same (crappy) internals. They start to die by flickering, sometimes accompanied by zaps and snaps that sound like Frankenstein's lab in an old horror movie. Sometimes I've managed to get the seller to replace them, but more often than not they'll either ignore replacement requests, or promise a replacement but never send it.
I love how bright these lights are, and that you can angle to panels to suit your lighting needs. But they're not worth the hassle and expense of constantly replacing them. After watching this video, I'm going back to a single LED bulb in the ceiling sockets.
as a photographer, the bigger the light source , the better the light quality
Ответить"Watch before you buy" is clickbait. I will tell YT not to rec this channel. (not watching this vid, I don't reward spammers)
ОтветитьCAN U SEND ME ONE TO TRY OUT
ОтветитьI would like to try them
ОтветитьI would like to try it .
ОтветитьSo many ppl promote this crap without giving it time to see how long they last I have installed 4 of these lights and they only last 6 to 12 months I'm going back to florescent
ОтветитьI would love to try this light
ОтветитьI want to try them
ОтветитьIm 2 Years late but you think i could use them to light up a living room that has no light built into it? Let me know what you would recommend its not a huge room but big enough. Probably a smallish to medium living room. Also it has to be a plug in light unless i wire it to a plug myself.
ОтветитьI guess I am to late to ask to try one out lol
ОтветитьI want to try them
