Is there an adjustment on the hole for center pin for different brand made turntable?
Can we with the weight, close the lid on turntables?

Would you suggest using one of these on a portable suitcase record player?

Great info but why have the background music playing at the same volume as the person speaking, this makes absolutely no sense. If your giving info to the viewers through dialogue then no music or at least lower volume music is the way to go. I tuned in to hear what it was you had to say, not to listen to elevator music, just saying is all. You guys do make great products and I will be ordering one of these.

I just ordered a RT85. It’s almost impossible to ever get a straight answer from anyone on platter weights. Everyone doesn’t want to stick out their neck and take a stand. You also did it. Since Fluance sells a platter, should I that you indorse the weights and that there is no damage being done to the spindle bearing? Please tell me that if I buy the Fluance weight, it’s safe for my new RT85.

I have a Micro Seiki RX-5000. The platter weighs over 40lbs. I'm going to a Dynavector 507 tonearm which is great but has a small sub arm whose one detraction is that warps can cause largish changes to VTA. I have no severely warped records, few with any noticeable warps, but I think a weight would be beneficial. Which would you recommend? I assume the added weight won't be an issue for a motor and bearing designed to withstand the very heavy platter (table plus PS/motor assembly is 135 lbs.). Thanks

I purchased a high density metal weight and all it did is increase the amount of static electricity on the record. It did absolutely nothing to improve the sound quality. Perhaps using a plastic one would be better for static? The theory behind using a weight makes sense, but it doesn’t make a big enough difference that it translates into a noticeable/audible improvement in sound quality. Looks cool on the tt though.

If it is that good, why don't you incorporate in your turntable.
