Ga je video’s maken in Amerika
ОтветитьMooi filmpje! En gefeliciteerd met je vriendin man!
ОтветитьGlad to see you back. Congrats to you and the love of your life. That's great that you'll be visiting the USA! Maybe you could make some history secrets videos here by visiting some old battle grounds? Great job on the helmet. Looking forward to more videos from you.
Ответитьyou get your MG42 fixed?
ОтветитьI understand your situations nick! Good job on the restoration and your relationship!
Edit: if you made a video on your trip to the usa i cant wait for it
Hi Nick! I remember a few years back you talked about a sad find you made in a German bunker, are you going to make a video on it?
ОтветитьI am so happy for you excited to see many videos with the both of you
ОтветитьThank you for uploading you’ve been my favorite channel for years now and I’m glad that I found your channel
ОтветитьI love the camo and weathering on this one
ОтветитьHey do you uave any recommendations for young reanactors?
ОтветитьGood job! I'm always amazed at how much the models I have worked on change and actually look like they are real with a good weathering job.
ОтветитьIt's good to see you back and congrats on the girlfriend...
ОтветитьHello nicks girlfriend 🙋
Ответить1 word: Rizzler (Love your content mate)
ОтветитьI like the jute helmet cover used early on in WW1....they are a mudbrown color, and can be dawbed with green and rust-red like your camo helmet
ОтветитьITS always a great day when u post
ОтветитьI’m proud of you. Welcome back sir.
ОтветитьI like the m18 helmet
ОтветитьWill you aver do worldwar 1 reactions in the trench vido ?
ОтветитьGerman helmets are small anyway. I've got a Luftwaffe M40 with liner and chin strap, and I can barely get it on my head.
ОтветитьI really like the look of the finished product, and another thing I don't know if you are into WW2 RTS games but if so then Men of War assault squad 2 is a pretty good one.👍
ОтветитьThat intro hit close to home for me since its very similar to how the past six months have been for me and my fiance. Just the inverse I guess haha. I flew from washington state to Bayern in December and officially immigrated for work here a few weeks ago. Found this video through my research on doing an impression for der erste weltkrieg, but that was to close to home for me not to comment. I really wish you all the best with you and your love, especially in times of hardship, having that love and bond is truly something fierce and amazing in life. Look forward to seeing more of your videos and who knows, might see you at a reenactment someday soon! Tschüss :)
ОтветитьLiterally just got back from The Netherlands. On the way there we visited Doddengang in Belgium. It was so moving and so interesting to see all of the preserved items, including a couple of m1916 stahlhelms and even a couple of Belgian Adrienne helmets
ОтветитьHi, what kind of paint do you use for the camouflage colors? And where do you get? Gr Mike
ОтветитьFlecktarn and congrats bro!
ОтветитьPutting gun oil on the outside of the helmet also makes it have a better aged look
ОтветитьCool helmet, the paint is a bit too symmetrical imo. Still wry cool project
ОтветитьI can't imagine the reaction of her eyes when she in person looked at his collection of Nazi memorabilia or collection
Ответитьnormandy camo
Ответитьwhat happened?
ОтветитьAre you an American sir?
ОтветитьIch habe zwei originale M16, auf einen kann man noch die originale Mimikry Tarnung erkennen.
ОтветитьHappy for you 🎉
Ответитьwhat type of paint did you use? for the camouflage
ОтветитьNice, where did you get the liner and chin strap? 🪖 m81 woodland is my fav.
ОтветитьI have several of these helmets. The dazzle camouflage was only used by elite Stosstruppen (Stormtrooper) battalions & not the regular army. The soldiers were given cans of paint, the same colours & paint used as the Lozenge patterning on Imperial German aircraft. The soldiers were issued with brushes & paint that was available in the field & they would gather together & paint these very quickly. Each man painted his own helmet & then used black to break the colours up. There were guidelines & specifications issued to do with colours next to each other & the width of the black lines. For a guide to the basic helmet colour use Humbrol Bronze-Green. For the disruptive camouflage colours research the colours used on German aircraft for the Lozenge patterns found on the underside of the wings. Not all colours were used, the soldiers used whatever they were given & what was available in the field. Some soldiers used them like this others would drop dry sand onto the still wet paint to dull the surface down. It was a very low-tech application but it was very effective.
ОтветитьWell done
ОтветитьBit late but you’ve inspired me to join a reenactment group for the LSSAH, love from from a Aussie in america
ОтветитьFor the helmet liner, does it need to be the same size as the shell or smaller?
ОтветитьStahlhelm abuse
