I like a feel good story.

This story made my eyes water and they don't usually do that

I went through farmers losing their farms in 82 to planting fence row to fence row then the 90 hit same thing now don't know what they are up against just praying for a good outcome

I live in Israel. One day while in a supermarket I saw an elderly man trying to pay his bill with some change and it was no where enough. I asked how much was the bill and handed the money to the clerk, the man tried to push me off saying he had money , just it was lost. Then a woman tried to had the clerk the money, I said I get to pay because I was first. Then I saw 4 other people had opened their wallets and were trying to pay the mans bill. No movies were made , it do not go viral around the the world, just we knew we did the right thing with out any reward except the merit of doing something good.

Absolutely beautiful story with the kind of love that is needed in these days that we're living in this great Nation of ours. Thank you for this story and please bring more like this we are really missing this type of situation in this year, 2025 where lot of hate and fights are the news of every day. Here in what used to be the greatest nation in the world everything has changed drastically from bad to worst and that's why stories like this one gives us hope that a change of scenery can be seen at the end of the tunnel. I would like to mention the fact that you glossed over the meeting with the bank the day before the court appearance. Also, a typical court appearance of any consequence would see the farmer and his wife appearing in court together. He would not leave her home doing laundry, or tending the garden. She would be right by his side, especially since they didn't have a clue why they were being called to court. Just my opinion of a typical farm couple dealing with an appearance in court for any just about any reason. Always together for anything more than a typical traffic ticket.

How can a person have a mortgage on a forth generation farm.

Thy farmer whom find them assit. Why would a 3rd genaration farm be on mortage

My father taught all three of us kids those same lessons, and if you borrow something from someone, you return it in as good or better condition then when they loaned it to you. I've never had the results that Dan and Beth did. But I still try to do my best with other people, not expecting anything in return, but just to make them smile and have a better day. WOW, farming on a steep hillside. That ridge was tall enough to hide his house and he only had 400 acres (880 x 2200 yards). That's a big enough piece of land, but they couldn't see his house.

Dan and Beth are most likely Christians and they helped the needy out of their own poverty. God then opened the gates of Heaven and blessed them mightily for their unselfish generosity. Praise God!
