ОтветитьI really adore how you teach English 💙💙💙
ОтветитьI do learn a lot about English pronunciation by listening to you video so: thanks. I noticed a couple of misspellings though: chauvanism instead of chauvinism and psuedonym instead of pseudonym for example.

ОтветитьAmazing ❤
ОтветитьThanks Lucy
ОтветитьVery useful thank you
ОтветитьHow about break and brake
ОтветитьInteresting. I always thought it was 'perogative'. I was wrong. Also, always used to say 'decrepid'. Was wrong about that as well. One you left out, for me, was 'our' which most natives pronounce as 'ar' (as opposed to hour which IS pronounced 'our'). Another tricky word, for me, is tourist. I say 'torist'. A lot of poshish people seem to say 'turist'.

ОтветитьYou're a great teacher😊
ОтветитьPLEASE read my comments! They're useful feedback from a phonetician.
ОтветитьCAREFUL! How can you transcribe HEIR as /eə/ when there's clearly no schwa sound in the way you pronounce it. You can clearly hear a long vowel /ɛː/. This is bound to confuse students! Please don't copy the transcription, check whether it is the way you pronounce it. The transcription /eə/ is old RP and only some old upper class people might retain that pronunciation. Maybe it's best not to use the symbols, if they do not represent your modern standard pronunciation.
ОтветитьThe phonetic transcription of 'brewery' is a disaster. The central vowel is transcribed as some Geordie people would say pURE, but she actually saying something like /brɵ́ːərɪj/ or /brʉ́wərɪj/
ОтветитьALBEIT! She's actually saying /óːlbɪ́jɪt/ but the transcription is showing AL like in a northern accent, BE with a French accent and IT is correct.
ОтветитьTu peux parler un langage India اي بي سي الانجليز اي لاف يو🇲🇲
Ответитьi always find it hard to say the word "difficult" so ironic isn't it xD i keep saying "diffucold"
